I can see the panes on the bottom and right, but the part of the screen i can only presume is intended for the graphics is a bright pink. When I last tryed to play the game a few weeks ago everything was fine, (well technically, i had anohter problem which prevented me from playing until now).

I'm running windows XP home edition and the latest Direct X.
I'm afraid i don't know the exact hardware specifications, but my pc should have no problem handling a program like this, I have run far more technically challenging games.

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

Its a bug other have experienced. Just try relooging in until it works.

A common hint is to update your graphic card's drivers.
