Forgetting tommorow

A small notebook lies strewn among some other things in Emily Xahep's depot. Opening the cover in a neat cursive is written: Property of Emily Xahep. Under it, written in the same cursive is: A gift from Avareniah for her favorite student . The remainder of The notebook is wrtitten in a childish scrawl.
Avareniah told me to write about people first so i suppose that is what I will do. Today I met two wonderful people, Avareniah and Caitlin, and....a strange woman named Elmara. Avareniah was a lovely elfess with light brown hair, and the most beautiful green eyes I have ever seen. She was very nice to me, and she taught me the names of some flowers
Virgins weed
Desert sand capsule
and firnis blossom
The virgins weed reminded me of an angel. The yellow middle was like a bright halo, and the white petals were like wings. The desert sand capsule was bright and colorful, and was shaped like a little cup on a stick, and the firnis blossom was a bright pink flower that smelled just like summer days. I know summer day aren't supposed to have a smell, but there's no other way to describe the way it smelled.
Caitlin was a pretty woman with dark hair, and I think she was a teacher of healing, because I was watching her tell Avareniah and another elfess how to stitch wounds. I didn't really want them to notice me watching, because I was so shy, but I watched every little detail carefully. I think I might want to be like that someday. Someone who can fix things that hurt other people, that would be the most wonderful thing in the world. I think the most important thing I got from watching them was that the stitches must be very precise and firm, and the more stitches there are the smaller the scar will be. Elmara is hard to describe, the only thing I can say about her is that she has something against men.
The very last thing Avareniah asked me to write about was kicking down the wall. Earlier Avareniah asked me how I remembered the name of the night angels blossom when I didn't know what the others were. Well....when i think about things it's like looking at a painting, and having everything but me blocked out. I look around, trying to find my way through the darkness, and suddenly I hit a wall. I hit the barrier that is stopping me from knowing that, and I kick it down. Suddenly the painting has a sheep, or and acorn, or maybe even just a blade of grass, but it adds something to that blackness so i'm not completely alone.
