Hello! My account is approved so now I'm just waiting for my character name check. This is my first attempt to play an rpg with actual rping a character. So don't flame me for that. Correct my mistakes instead. My character is Bardo, a halfling. He is not very communicative, but if he makes a friend then it's a good one. Looking forward to meeting you all in the game and to making good friends. I guess it will be a lot of fun.

Well if this is your first expierence of roleplaying you picked a great place to begin. Your expectation for the game of having a character who makes friends is a great base to start from in illarion. We have a good community and many people who rp sociable and friendly characters as well.
Dont be scared to use the newbie board with any additional questions you may have. While you wait for your name check you may enjoy reading this if you have not seen it yet.

The roleplaying guide is full of great suggestions and will help "familiarise" you for the way most of us play the game and some basic commands.

Thanks, I've read the most part of that thread because I had enough time for that while I was waiting for my account approval This game is actually the first one I have found that has rp. In others the goal is usually to be the best and that's why I've never played other mmorpgs more than for a month. I hope this will be something different.

I've played other non-rp MMorpg's, and let me tell you. This is a totally different feeling. Be forewarned though. After you get a hang of it, you'll be addicted more than John Patrick Harris to speed. I have 5 characters and all are mainted well, even though i can only play during the weekends.. But heh. I play the extremes. Kid, hero, Merc, and two Merchants. And let me tell you...It's damn addicting. Just be sure not to use leet talk, puns, or modern lingo and you'll do fine

What's puns? Humorous roleplay? Yeah I like humorous roleplay. It is actually the only rp in other mmorpgs because people are ready to rp just for great jokes. Ok, I will try to learn everything that is needed. Though english isn't my native language so don't judge me stricktly. But my english was always enough for other games so I hope I won't have troubles with that. Oh and BTW I never liked that leet talk anyway

No, that is not my char I haven't played him yet. Didn't have the time. It's just that halflings are alike (all are short). I'm going to start now.
