Can anyone help me? I got lost an them this monster nearly chased me then i was attacked by a human and then a swarm of bug fly things followed me all the way back to a random town where I'm still lost. I'm being attacked by these bugs in a house and theyre blocking the door. It's a village south east of the sign warning people about bloodskull teritory. I've stopped the client but each time i came back they carry on eating me. Can anyone help? (either that or tell me if theve left the house which is the one with the lizardman outside that doesnt speak)
Any thing will be helpful
thanks, Yanrou

Logging to escape monsters is really grey area stuff and for pities sake Kevin the player is obviously new, if you are going to quote the rules don’t think be sure and then explain the rule so the player may become familiar with the rule as well. Yes Kevin posts are meant to be informative….
Yanrou,
Welcome to the game, Sounds like you have had a good run around. The flies are a problem as they don’t suffer a movement penalty as they can of course fly. How ever when you logg back in if they kill you I would not worry as your new player status means you wont lose any skill and to my knowledge wont drop anything of value. There is a push function CTRL+Click is the command to attack and you also then drag a monster or person one square in any direction. Depending on your health and how much life you have left you may be able to escape. If you die you will become a cloud and from your location you can travel west over the desert and some "rock" it’s a “long” trip but you will eventually find a large town, perhaps you have been there already. Any rate that is Trollsbane the cross is in the north of town so you can resurrect and it should be much easier as Trollsbane being the town most new players stay in is kept pretty monster free, with luck you will meet some players who can help you in game soon.
Best of luck
Brian
Also the rule Kevin refers to is logging that is when a player logs out of game to avoid death in player VS player conflict this is highly frowned upon. With monsters it is less of an issue and although not encouraged certainly not a problem in this instance. Worry not in week or two and you won’t have to worry about bugs or bandits at all anyway.

A weapon is certainly required at lower levels. As you get better if you choose to study concussion weapons you can do some damage with your bear hands.

There is a cross in Varshikar as well (the town you're trapped in). It's a bit south of the town.

Its also an orc outside the house not a lizardman. He is an npc and will sell some weapons. Type help when close to him to get some hints.
Trust us...it does get better than that! Sounds like you had quite a bad start. Things will get better, though exploring can be dangerous.....there are monsters out there!
Welcome to Illarion.

.I sort of encountered the same thing. But 2 humans and a swarm attacked me in the desert (near varshikar.) I didn't exactly run but i found it kind of weird. I then realized the humans were "monsters/bandits/ or whatever." I think it's odd that bandits and swarms make friends but w/e.

They dont make friends, it just happens that monsters right now are out of place (scorpions and sheep in mountains)
And monsters dont attack each other, so there is no way for the bandir or fly to try and kill each other.
