To the Citizens of trollsbane and all other townships:
As i walked your streets today i encounterd a drow by the name od Darnok. He came to address the events that took place yesterday on the soils of Vanima and beyond. The item in question a stolen book of magical origins and inadvertantly handed over to a demonic creature. As such the drow have offered there 'assistance' in retrieving the book from this beast. At the request of Darnok, he asks a mass prayer of ritual be held in order to draw the creature out where it can be defeated. The closest alter be that of the grey rose, and is asked in accordance that it be used for the endeavor.
As it is the shrine withing grey rose castle itself this option is left up to the knights of the rose. however should they choose to accept it would be prominent that some of them as well as any other capable warrior show up for the ritual as well, for as i am told the demon will send it's minions before coming itself. I am not a member of this township however the demon is the immediate threat to the entire isle and as such, i and nay other Varshikari who feels as such will lend assitance. i suggest gathering as many souls would dare tomorrow. so that we may rid ourselves of at least one of the many problems that face Gobiath.

I trust caution has not entirely left the citizens of isle.
I myself have little trust in the Drow, who himself tried to steal this book.
Perhaps you should find out more about this book and it's use to either the drows or the demon before you storm ahead and follow the drows orders.
Remember all the worlds greatest problems were small to begin with. Do not make a mistake Athian.

I do not really get the whole thing. I read something about a ritual and a stolen book. Maybe anyone can explain me?
In general the Shrine of Malachin is public. All followers in peace with us can pray there.

Alas i was some distance away at the time of Athians intial summons. How ever if i am frank i bear no love to the drow but i hold a smouldering hatred for demons.
As such if this drow can bring out the demon I dont see a reason not to use the fiends knowledge. We can always dispatch the demon and the drow soon after?
Let us meet and the majority voice speak at this meeting I do not profess the wisdom to make a choice for an entire island.
Yours in service

If you plan a meeting, vanima is at your service. I suggest we do not rush into this 'ceremony' it could be a trap. The drows are clever, do not underestimate them.

for you knowledge Thalados, don't seek to judge me when you know hardly anything about me, i never said i trusted the drows words or i would go blindly into there actions. however the chance to rid one evil form the isle is as good a reason as any to enter into the venture, no ones fools enough to trust someone they've just met, but i can't say i trsust him any more or less then i trust a demon. one problem at a time is fine by me unless your omnipotent enough to deal with the demon and the drows all at once. then by all means feel free. however it is done time grows short to stop this demon, and i for one would rather take care of it now then when it's to strong to stop.

one thing athian didn't mention was the demon's name. I know it and it would be quite useful for fighting the demon said by the drow. i'm willing to share that name if you were to..........*cough* pay *cough* me *cough*. leave a messeg if you're interested
it is unsigned[/quote]

Dear Athian,
the shrine in the cave under the Grey Refuge is dedicated to Malachin and I am the priest of this shrine.
If you need me and Malachins help to get ride of an evil creature, I will be at your service for the help for Gobaiths future.
I will be at the shrine today or tomorrow evening. Please send me a dove which time will fit for the ceremony.

Unsigned stranger, we are much are of the demonss name, something i will not write or utter near these walls.
Your haste to get rid of the problem could lead into creating a bigger on Athian. I do not wish to undermine you but i wish you to take more caution.

So, in general, you ask people to help you summon a demon so it can be defeated afterwards?
What if this demon is too powerful to fall by your swords?
There's big confidence necessary to think one can fight such a foe, as a demon is. But let me state my concern about this plan:
You're not going to get rid of it, you'll release it from its realm so it can endanger the island even more, most likely kill everyone who'll attend to this ritual and afterwards destroy the rest of the island.
Mind my words

the demon i question is already roaming free, it is merely bidding it's time and waiting for a chance to strike, we arent calling it from an unknown realm. we are drawing it out of hiding. the reason to even consider working with the drow is that we may not be powerful enough to stop this creature however they believe they are, we merely must keep one eye on the demon and one eye on thr drows and the more trained warriors we have present the better chance we have of being able to do so

Knowing the drow, the ritual they wish to act will probably give more strenght to it... they fought in Vanima for the book, i do not think that it was for the good of Gobaith that the drow were ready to butcher my brothers and sisters.
