Friends, citizens and those with whom I share our island the past months have seen a great many changes in Trollsbane and our island. This past month has seen much upheaval yet through all this there is one thing we have not managed to achieve. A sense of unity and belonging with in our own town walls our town stands as stop over point for the island. Let there be no mistake our gates and shelter extend to all honest peoples of the isle, yet in offering so much we lose any sense of our town belonging to us the people of Trollsbane.
Our walls stand in disrepair the guard is run ragged dealing with numerous issues and much of our trade and as such wealth is dispersed over an entire island.
More over people complain about the guard or an incident in our walls and I cannot gauge if this is some subterfuge, simply trouble making or honest concern. It is with this and more in mind I have decided to open a new citizen’s role. Below you will find those amongst who us who I know with surety would wish to be added.
Together we can make Trollsbane a sparkling gem on the face of Gobiath, as one we can weather even the worst storms and in unity we may all grow and aspire to great things.
This is not a task I relish yet in the months I have held station as captain of the guard no one has stepped up to challenge my position, more over no one has stepped up to try and convene a public meeting or organize any form of leadership beyond my word. It is my sincere hope coming months will see that change, until then I will let my continued devotion to this town speak for me and in turn take it upon myself to speak for the town.

Applications to become a citizen should when possible be made in person with myself and the coming days will see other names you may contact about citizenship placed on this wall. I have not taken the liberty of adding members of the Greyrose I am sure Lennier will inform me of the relevant names.

Might I ask that The Varshikar Ambassador be added to your new list. I would not want to be run out of town due to a slight oversight. It is good to hear you are back on your feet Pendar. I hope we can meet soon to discuss a few outstanding matters.

Greetings to Pendar, Overseer of Troll's Bane

After a long time of thinking about your proclamation, I decided to write a puplic letter to you, who is responsible for this new citizen list.
Your decision leaving former honourable citizen of Troll's Bane out of your list, without contacting them, simply taking them out of the scroll, leaves me with a feeling of anger.
I for myself have done in the years before you arrived much for this city, giving much heart blood into their growing and wealth. To be taken out of the list without any contact seemed to me as spiting on the work of the people before your reign.
People who don't care for their history will soon fall.

I appreciate you taking the time to contact me I honor your question and hope you will accept a small answer on this parchment and a deeper discussion in person at your convenience.
The island has been through much change of late as I am sure you have witnessed. With John's departure I was left to the role of guard captain a position I took to honor my oath.
Some months later Lennier stepped down from his position in town and it was decided that the Grey rose would become citizens not themselves taking leadership or service positions in town.
We were left with a town with only one leader as guard captain it fell to me to speak for the town. With out organized leadership our sense of community in town and indeed the structure of the city we both love began to unravel.
The new citizen list was not an attempt to remove our history but so many are gone left the island perhaps dead? So many faces I have not seen in a year or more I do not have the power to seek a way to contact these people. My hope was this new list would bring back old voices so there wisdom may again guide our town. The list is open to all peoples old and new who would love this town as there own, I welcome you back with honor and look forward to doing so in person.
