((All text, unless italicized, would of course be in the lizard language))
I believe I should be keeping a record of this all, because I will surely want to remember this journey in years to follow. Or, should another lizard wish to hear of my tale, I would be able to oblige.
It was with both excitement and trepidation I took my first step upon the dock, having never experienced the company of the other races, or even walked on ground so dry.
I was fortunate to meet one of my kin, calling himself Brother Selisidour. A friendly face and a familiar tongue did much to abate my sense of uneasiness with the new, strange surroundings. However, Selisidour had things to busy him, and was soon off.
It was then I encountered one who I would like to call my friend, Gisella. Later I would meet Marie, a second helpful person. Thus far two of the friendliest humans I've encountered. They seem less anxious to get involved in fights than many of the other humans, most notably the male. Their openness to me has been greatly appreciated.
The humans are a peculiar people, very confrontational. Out of the many I've seen, only three; Gisella, Marie, and Garen, have not seemed to have an overabundant zeal for combat against their fellow citizens. I should like to determine what makes the humans so anxious to draw swords against each other.
