Is this illarion? I was playing for a few minutes in the free time I had just now. In that short time, I was res killed over 10 times, had "FORCED RP" shouted at me everytime my character tried to do any action, and endured insulting ooc remarks every other second. Am I dreaming or did illarion change drastically?

So you were the player flying around as cloud and annoying others? Just to inform you, to stay a cloud and bother others with that is not well seen and a GM would do something against that, when seeing it.

Neither side was exactly cooperative, just a bad situation overall.

Wasn't the first time PO Ziel rekilled someone. I remember there were once a dwarf and a halfling he rekilled at the cross. and that just because they insulted him.

If you were killed 10 times please i urge you to forward the parts of the log to a GM. Reskilling that number of times would result in some harsh action assuredly.
Yes going around as a ghost insulting players is to avoided to

How ever reskilling is far bigger concern

Reskilling is against the rules, report them to a gm. Who and the time is important.

I am confused to how one should go about dealing with this situation....The person attacked Ziel's character for no reaon and Ziel attacked back...then the character ressurected and attacked again so Ziel Killed him again...I think both ways were quite wrong, but I also wonder what I would have done in Ziels position..maybe the same, or maybe i would have fled because my character's acoward

Well, I just found out my character can't even comprehend what other characters say now thanks to the awesome res killing I just got.

The res killing happened a few minutes prior to my first post here, and I don't know who the res killer was. People were calling him Ko though whatever that means.

In your loggs you will have his number 12345 etc
and the words
Go to the cross to be ressurected.
This should enable you to find the logg,
Send the logg of the event to a GM with an estimated time and they can review it and take action.
How ever suffiecent killing to lose your language skill i URGE you to report this.

I did NOT reskill him. I was in the cross being attacked OVER and OVER and OVER again. I let him attack me for awhile. Mabey one or two minutes, trying to cope with him before he attacked me AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN. He tried force RPing shoving an apple up my ass, smearing it around my face, and making my helmet magicly dissapeared off my head. He accuses me of Ressurection killing, but I accuse him of this:

Someone (Elf) takes off the helmet and the helmet is gone.
Ko' Agor 's helmet is locked into place. The helmet is not gone.
Someone (Elf) continues mashing the apple all over the ugly orcs face.
Someone (Elf) has taken off helmet helmet is definitely gone.
Someone (***): (( dude..what is your malfunction?))
Ko' Agor 's helmet is clearly still on his head.
Someone (Elf) sees orc helmet is gone.
Ko' Agor helmet is still there..
Someone (Elf) forces the orc to eat every last bit of the mushed apple.

Ko' Agor has a helmet on.
Someone (Elf) sees orc with no helmet.
Ko' Agor has on a helmet.

Someone (Elf): Ko has no helmet
Ko' Agor: I HAVE HELMET
Someone (Elf): Ko has mushed apple dribbling out of his mouth
Someone (Elf): Ko has no helmet
Ko' Agor steals the apple..
Someone (***): (( omg..this is to funny ))
Someone (Elf) watches orc have rest of apple forced down his throat.
Someone (Elf) smacks the orc.
Ko' Agor has no apple forced anywhere.

Heh. Not the first time it happens, right, Cirindil?

I will quote what a GM told me about clouds: "People don't see ghosts. RPing clouds already proved to end in trouble. If someone comes to you rping a cloud and if it's not gm-allowed or a gm, just ignore it".

And that's what I do from now on.

I edited my post with the nearly half hour long trama. He attacks me ALOT inbetween. I let him attack for awhile, then kill. He attacks me again.. again.. and again.

rofl. He's lucky he didn't get lured to the top of the tavern, killed and pushed in those rocks. Then he couldn't do anything.

People need to learn to walk away from these situations. If RP breaks down to that extent dont continue in the situation. Walk away and !gm.

Kindergarten.

Please report rule breaking at violations@illarion.org. It is not necessary to discuss such things in public. All of you, we have rules. Read them:

1. Basic Rule

Illarion promotes role play. Out-of-character (OOC) behaviour should be reduced to a bare minimum.

3. Insults

All insults directed at the person behind the screen, and not the character, are frowned upon, and will not be tolerated. Neither will all racist and/or sexist remarks.

7. Player killing

The killing of characters without a valid roleplay reason is forbidden. As is also Resurection killing (killing multiple times within a very short period of time.). Most people actively hunt player killers (PK), and attack them on sight. Newbies, who are unfamiliar with how the game works, should be treated friendly as long as they are not aggressive.

8. Out-of-Character (OOC)

Illarion puts the most focus on roleplaying. any out-of-character talk should be whispered, or take place outside town. Also, speak as your type of character would in medieval times. Do not use modern slang. Do not speak of your skills. Sentences like "My parry skill is light blue" are highly frowned upon. If players are talking to each other (not their characters) they should both keep it short, do it at a quiet place where other players wouldn't be disturbed and even then they should whisper.

15. Emotes

Actions of a character should be stressed by emotes. Emotes are describing only visible actions and states. Power emotes, which have effects on other characters and don't give them the opportunity to react are prohibited (e.g. "#me killed the dwarf").
