A little advice, please?

Okay, right of the bat, I'm very sorry if anyone feels like im wasting their time. I've only been playing about a week so far, and I think I've gotten the hang of most things. I'm trying to turn my character into a carpenter. I've gotten a saw, plane, and carving tools, and I've got a pretty good idea of how carpentry works after a lot of trial and error. I've made quite a few plates and bowls, a few flails, a staff, a shield and a few handles which have a use that i'm not aware of yet... what I'm wondering about is,

1.) Is there a numerical representation for skill levels? I know they supposedly change color as you gain experience in them, but is there a way to see an actual number, because my monitor is crap and I can't tell if my carpentry has changed colors.

2.) Is there an NPC somewhere in Trollsbane where I can sell what I've produced? I haven't had much luck selling bowls and plates to PCs, because they can probably make anything I can, and better.

3.) How far will my skills have to develope before I can produce more complex items?

Once again, thank you to anyone who takes the time to point me in the right direction. :)

1) The only way is to copy and paste a screenshot of your carpentry skills to a prog. like Paint, acquire the color (eyedropper in paint) then finding the color code of it (color, custom color, define custom color)

2)Not in Troll's Bane, or anywhere else, that I know of.

3)Axe handles are what you want to aim for. They can be sold. Only item right now that I know of from carpentry that sells.

To Mugush the npc, that is. My character is practically begging for plates and bowls, just bad luck finding eachother I guess.

The things which can be sold to NPCs are :

Bows > Elinas.. [don't speak elven? you have a problem.. ask Zhambra for help ;)]
SOme Shields > ELiza
Axehandles > Trust me don't waste yourself on these.. 1 coin each

---

Also Plates and bowls.. look for cooks...
Staff handles are AFAIK totally useless

I'd like to think that a character looking to make ends meet would be willing to settle for 1 coin each.

1) That method (taking a screenshot and determine the color-value) grants no exact values. It is possible that you rise in your skill but the color does not change and it is also possible that someone has a way higher "color value" but your skills are almost equal. I suggest not to bother with such methods, the best way to determine your skill is to see what you can do and what not.

2) On the testserver, yes. New traders will come with the next update.

3) Depends. In average, it takes 50 actions to raise ones skill. In average means, it can take 10 or 100 as well.

1 coin each isn't worth the food level you lose making them... :P

But it'll change.. thanks you GMs

Estralis! I can't believe you posted this! LOL. I thought GMs frowned upon that kind of thing... in fact me and someone else got yelled at OOC because we were whispering OOC about that sort of thing.

Characters know nothing about technical food levels.
