I have 2 sources to play Illarion, Cybercafees and my home. At cybercafees i can get on game, but it's slow as hell, but at home, I can't even get on. I type my character's naem and pass, and then I get a black screen with a hand, the hand becomes smaller and then i wait and wait then when I ctrl alt delete, it says the client aint responding! What to do?

Do you have DirectX on your computer at home? Could be the problem. You can download the latest DirectX version on www.microsoft.com .

make sure your video card'd drivers are up to date on your home computer. Make sure you don't have any P2P software (ie Kazaa, Morpheus) running, and any other programs that require heavy net usage.

Well here's the thing, i live in lebanon (for one more year then im finally back to canada) and there, internet is kinda limited, and as im a canadian teenage (canadian teenage = internet addicted) i searched the whole country to find a cybercafee that can work illarion out.. and now I FOUND ONE! Hurray, it's a bit slowish.. so if you meet some guy who's a bit slow, it might as well be me.. but at least it works.. even if I gotta pay like... $5 each hour i open internet its okay

Karl, glad to hear another Canadian plays this game. As far as I know now, you, Avareniah and myself are the only Canadians.
Hope someone a way is figured out that you can play at home. Though I'd pay $5 an hour to play Illarion, I do love it that much.

Well, $5 for a SLOW and EXTREMELY annoying hour, on a Pentium II computer with a 100 kbs/h connection, children screaming and yelling around you, no earphones to listen to music, and a connection that goes on and off each 30-40 minutes! Are you sure you'd pay $5?
