Double click to annoy!

The abbility to walk by doubleclick should be tooken out. The fact is our entire system is built on Double and shift clicks. It is annoying to walk over a reed/grain/campfire when your trying to use it.

It may not seem like a problem to you, but for some it is.

take for instance PO Emily Xahep. Her mouse is all screwed up, and she moves randomly when trying to find herbs/plant grain.

I cant make it any more clear then bluntly saying: "it is annoying. please take it out." So, indeed, please take it out. No one uses Ye' Ol' Cursor to move anyways.

Actually, I use it rather often, to make #me's while I walk, or to talk while I walk. I just doubleclick on the direction I am going, or want to go, and if I want to talk while I am walking, I just type really quickly.

I vote against such a removal of a very nifty function. Oh, and you can buy a mouse at the low price of 10 dollars, maybe even 5.

Actually, some of us do when going long distances over open ground.
But I had a similar problem with a dodgy mouse. That was bad news when there were ice flames about!
Simple solutions...new mouse. Or maybe try cleaning the old one - might just work.

There you go. A cheap mouse for nothing more than 10 dollars.

EDIT

And guess what? It has more uses than just improving your Illarion experience. I will also look up some prices on cheap cleaning tools (might I remind you that pure alcohol and a stick with the fluffy ends works perfect. Dip the fluffy end in the alcohol, and go around the little thingie that your mouse works on. Perfect)

I woud have to vote for it to go, but I think my mouse is probably the problem. I'll give cleaning it a try and if that doesn't work i'll trade mouses with the other computer

EDIT: The thing is Ziel every time i was clicking the flowers it would show the flowers in the box above, NOT the ground :? So it doesn't really make sense that I should be moving and i'm not double clicking.

Yeah, double click combined with the mini map and far off locations rocks...

It gives this... superior feeling if you see your RP partner has to stop walking to type his words while you can go on for miles and miles with an everflowing cascade of emotes, words, feelings, expressions this supperior smile on your lips and the pity for this poor being forced to stop to do such a simple thing as talking...

Anyway I'm drifting off, please keep it.

Although ball mouses are cheap they need to be replaced regularly. I paid 30 dollars for this lazer mouse four years ago and it's still in regular use.

if double clicking doesnt work, just use arrows, 10x easier, i only double click when i want to move really far and its an open area

I have the feeling Salathe once again missed the point.
