We have a forest named "Trolls Forest", but as far as I have searched today I haven't found a single troll.
What happened? Are there really no trolls anymore? Or do I need to search better?

The trolls were misplaced in the Southern Forest after the wipe. It will be fixed, but I have other things I'm doing currently. I don't think this is as high on my list of things to do as a number of other things. Expect a lot of the spawn points to change as of the next map update.

I saw trolls once in the northern forest aswell, east from grey rose castle

The only time i've seen trolls in that forest is when (Way back when) i had Ziel, and was chopping wood. A GM controlled and troll and came after us.

Yes, the trolls in the southern forest are more towards the crypts than the exact south of trollsbane.

GM's often spawn trolls in forests when too much and wasteful logging is done. When I summoned the trolls on Ziel, for example, since he brought it up, a lizard and himself had clear cut a nice, large section of the Southeast part of the Northern forests, discarding the handles that they made along the way.

The poor forest looked annihilated, and so I felt like dealing with an OOC problem in-character in a realistic manner. You hurt enough trees and the trolls will feel it and come running after you.

First the troll tried to communicate his disgust for what they were doing, but they continued on, and so fifteen or so other trolls showed up. After I scared off Ziel and his friend, I killed all the trolls myself, but I'm not usually so kind.

we did continue, but not in the same fashion. We left some trees. It wasnt compeltly destroyed.

Well it seems the Trolls (and Aegohl) felt otherwise about it.

Anyway, nowadays if you want to play that you are taking a kind view of using the woods, you can simply leave a few new tree sprouts behind. If you don't you're slowly killing the woods, so the trolls are probably right.

when the spiders came ( a few wweeks ago) a troll appeared inside trollsbane and went inside the Inn and killed almost everyone. also last night (17 september) a demon apeared in the orc caves prison... we believe it was summoned

If you want to hunt trolls then just look a little harder they arent to hard to find. Also, from what I've seen the ogres are quite similar to trolls so just hunt them if you want.

the trolls aren't hard to find in the southern woods. there always seems to be one waiting to chase me out of them
