Last night I was playing around with my spell caster (Elric Wolfe) and I had to try a few times to log him on.  I didn't count how many, maybe three time and didn't think anything of it then.  This morning I got on, well tried anyway, and the system says no character exsits.  I'm just trying to figure out what's going on.

Any help would be appreicated,

It could be your character is deleted (I don't know why), or it could be a case of temporarily "losing" the character file from the server.  It has happened before where a character file was lost.  There is a chance you can get it back though.

Well, I know that they delete characters for behavioral reasons but to the best of my knowledge I haven't done anything wrong.  I did cast spells over near where the yellow cross is, on the water actually.  But last time I was on I was the only person on so I didn't think it would matter.

If anyone has any other suggestions or knows who I should contact, let me know here.

Don't worry they probably haven't deleted your character for bad behaviour.

casting spells in town won't get you deleted because technically it's not an official rule enforced by Bror and such. We players just made it up as it's annoying to see non-stop "Forms silent words with lips" messages....

So does that mean I just need to remake that character?

was my character lost in a server crash too? i havent dont anything wrong so i guess this is the problem. my character name is Fluke ll.  or was my name not role playing enough for some people? if not could you get Lloyd to give me a list of suitable names?

what? i was never a PK, ask anyone who knew me they'll tell you. oh well, i guess everyone makes mistakes... even gms

The characters :- The Vortex, Chromium, Slavandor, The Game
have also all been "wiped" due to this problem .. How do we get them back ?
is there any way of recovering them ?

As far as I know, they have been deleted for beeing reported by the GMs for "a complete ignorance towards roleplaying and the violation of the name rules".
Since you know, that they have been erased, by a server error, you have perhaps already talked to the one responsible (bror@gmx.net)? If not, write him an email.
