Question about connecting

My account is verified and accepted and activated and everything, but when I try to connect to Illarion, it gives me three error messages in this order:
"WSAECONNREFUSED"
"Maybe the server is not online or you have no internet connection."
"Can't connect!"
Then, I get that alert microsoft thingy that says, "Illarion.exe has encountered a problem and must close" or something to the likes of that. It's really frustrating me, because I am online, and I don't know how to fix it! Please help me, somebody...

Server is currently down, it appears that 12 are online the exact number on at the moment of the crash.
Be patient and it will be back

maybe, depends on the server gods, if your lucky you'll be right where you were when the serveer froze, if not then

You can be sure, that your things a gone, Liles.
The server is not frozen, the server it crashed.
You can differ this two types, on the things that happen, when you try to connect.
If the server is frozen, it takes a really long time, till anything happen or nothings happens and the screen stay black.
If the server is crashed, you get some Errors a short time after you try to connect.

Make sure you log out periodically while working. And for gods sakes, take a break your character does not have infinate stamina and strength, people do get tired.

sounds like Gro'bul is missing the point of a joke once again. i'm sure most people remember to take breaks during work, for sheer boredoms sake if anything. as to the server if anyones wondering, it probably won't be back on till tomorrow, it's pretty late over there after all.

The server is now back up and yes items were lost.

If the server freezes and you log in next time, your status is like it was you log out before the server freezes.
