I don't know if this has been found, but if i haven't a bag, when I was smelting I had 5 slots in my belt full and when I made the ingot my pincers were now in my belt like they should but my crucible completely dissapeared. this has happened with hammers and buckets so please can someone tell me what to do. Otherwise I will just need to spend another 500 copper (!) on a new one.

Was there room in your belt? If not, the crucible should appear in your bag.
Was there room in your bag left?

If you didnt have enough free slots in your belt your items will be gone for good. Buy a bag for the 'overflow' items....or carry less in your belt.

Also, I went to greenbriar to purchase a bag and the NPC who sells them wouldn't respond, normally he does but for some reason yesterday and today he wouldn't respond to ''I buy one bag'' which always works.

The keyword is "leather bag". Stupid difference.

Really stupid.
NPCs should have more emotion and look more real.
When you go to a person and asks to buy a bag, they sell you what they have or at least show you the options. But IG it's been like this...
"I want to buy a bag"
"Oh, sorry. We don't have bags"
"Oh damn...", the character goes away.
"If only he asked for a leather bag...", the npc thinks and sighs.
Ironic but true.
