I have taken my fist child. She has learned her lesson, but i can not let her return. As you dont know, she is my daughter and im taking her back to the farm in her home lands. She admits she loves it there and wishes nothing more to return. Im sorry for not being able to meet the adopted parents of my daughter, but i thank you for taking care of her while she was lost.

Another parchment appeared on the wall, the glue used to fix it seems to be the same as before. The paper, again, has some bird claws marks. The handwritting is exactly the same. It reads:


You may come and search for me if that is your desire. My daughter is not leaving my side. She must learn to obey her real father.
She is starting to get used to the cold weather of the mountains of the North.
You may come to Varshikar to visit her when you wish, for I have a small debt with yourselves for taking care of her. We are staying here until the next ship for our land arrives. But bring 250 copper, you will still be a trespasser.

Upon review I see no one by the name of Thagul on the list of Varshikarian people, therefore he is tresspassing, people of Varshikar kill this man on sight.

Another paper, exactly the same as the others, from the hand writting to it's condition. It reads:

I think he's trying to tell you, that he is her father, though, anyone who wishes to hunt him can consider themselves my guest, as long as they tell me first, and anyone found hunting ogres instead will be punished.

Perhaps an organised search would be better. Save everyone covering the same ground or allowing this 'excellent father' slipping the net.
I also suggest a description of Thalgul being prepared and circulated, especially to the travel merchant of Trolls Bane. I assume he used a portal to move 2 resistant children from the lake all the way to Varshikar. If that is indeed where he is hiding out. If he is hiding in the mountains he should be easy to find. After all only a fool would tell his hiding place.
