The four humans, one which was possibly a girl, arose from the mines of Silverbrand cheerily talking about the gold they had just found and smiling warmly. However creeping up behind the rocks a hooded figure stalks his prey, his two swords drawn.

As he approaches he threatens the others that if they don't give the gold they shall be killed. However, they foolishly decide to fight rather that give their gold, but the hooded figure is too strong and pushes them back into the mine. In a fight where they are heavily outskilled three of them are slain and all that is left to help identify the killer is a five pointed star..
