Sylathen sits down next to his depot, gets out a bag and looks at the contents mumbling

"a drow blade, cloak, ornate dagger, townportal to varshikar, antidote, crossbow, wand, Lion shield...they all have something in common...but what..."
he laughs
"knowing arcadulus...it is something distant and something only if you look past what is infront of you can you see what he meant...but i am still stumped..what riddle could these items hold.."

he sighs leaning against his depot,thinking and examning the items.

An elf wearing a blue cloak walks past him, and greets him; then stops...

"What are you doing with a drow blade?; where did you even get that? Hunting drows now?"

The elf sits down on the wooden floor, playing about with his carving tools

Sylathen looks up at Eliron and shakes his head.

"oddly enough, a carrot plant sprouted these, there is supposed to be a reason behind these items..but i cant figure it out. Arcadulus gave us the seeds that sprouted these.."

still leaning against his depot, he thinks why arcadulus would leave such a hard riddle if we needed to save something.

Eliron moves closer towards the lizard and looks at the items...

"I thought Arcadulus was dead... his spirit left them? or something that grew out of the grave?"

He examines them carefully... "hmm 8 items... the executioner had killed 8 people at that time right? Maybe they represent the people..."

Sylathen looks at eliron

"wasnt there nine so far? wait..how could i forget"
he pulls out a cut amythist from the bag aswell.
"this was also from them, but...it still doesnt help me figure out what the riddle is.."
he sighs and watches eliron

Eliron thinks

"WHo are the 9 he killed?

Drow blade, could mean the half-elf
The wand could mean a mage; the portal meaning someone who is from varshikar"

"But until i know who the 9 were, i can not tell..."

Liles walks past the the two and joins them in figuring it out.

" Well, at first I was told to plant only 3 seeds... But then someone came back with more... I can only image what..."

Liles then falls over, drunk.

Eliron looks at the collapsed drunk on the floor, "he;s not going to help us..."; he then turns back to working out the riddle...

"Maybe it is telling us to be prepared... they all seem to have war values, each of them..."

Liles sits up and points at the wall.

" I know what i'm talking about. I was the first to reach the cross the first and secound time and the first to reach the murder of the 9th... When he gave me the seeds he said... And I quote " Plant these and midnight and use what is grown " So its not much of a ridle more as a... Erm command."

Liles stop pointing at the wall and turns to the others

" If you don't mind me and the wall want to have a privete conve"

Liles passes out once more.

sighs looking at the page on the floor.
"he really needs to quit the drinking..But use them for what?"

"Apparently all may be used for war...the jewel is used to make wands, which may be used for war"

"The drow blade surprises me... for it is not worthy of the lion shield next to it... they are too distinct"

Eliron looks at the drunk, "i hope he can help us more... i should really use one of my drunk cures here"

Later that day Liles see the men trying the riddle again.

" You know, I have some extra infomation now. Each one has a use, I know some but someone knows more"

Liles walks over to the men

" Ok so.... The crossbow is the tool, the blade is the key, and someother things thay Eliron Knows"

Liles Gets up

" I will lay of the booze untill he is deafeted, and when he is I shall compensate for the missed days"

Liles walks off

" Farwell If I learn more I shall tell you both "

Eliron looks at the items, and smiles

I had a good thought about them, and i think i can solve most of them now...

The drow blade means that the enemy can only be harmed by magic blades
The wand i understand represents magic, good or evil
The amethyst is similar to the dark night we will face if we do not solve this
Cloak, hidden by the darkness; may be revelead only by the light of understanding
The portal, evil spreading, or man hiding with fear
Antidote, a cure from the evil around us
The lionshield, protection for the brave and right
