Concerning the murder of Eire

I am just posting this to let people know that Devrah Liioness and Kamik Windslasher did NOT murder the child Eire who appeared as a ghost and announced such. For some reason, people will not believe me, I guess because it came from a ghost.

People should be aware, that I believe it is considered courtesy to check with a gm before engageing in RP as a ghost. Ghosts are not visible to most people. I have always thought unless specific quest related or approved. Ghost talk should be approached as OOC information.
If some one is dead there ghost doesnt appear in court.

He's not dead! He never was! I know nothing about this.

A GM once told me to simply ignore ghosts talking. Indeed, we can't see them and rping them already showed to be a bad bad idea.

Devrah, I am starting to think this ghost was, actually, Cirindil, since I spoke with PO Eire and she said it wasn't her. So, the ghost may not even have been the boy.
Well, another misunderstanding very understandable.

Now, now... the tension grows as I discover IG, being told by Sylathen, that the ghost actually said that it's name was Eire.
And i wonder, someone is really interested in destroying Kamik's hero career or is this only a coincidence?
Or maybe Kamik is a sleepwalker that always carry a weapon?
Mmmmmmm.

Kamik destroys his hero character pretty well already ;)

That'a stupid. Eire was alive and in the bed at the time.

And I PLAY Eire, I should know.

Hmm - to be cleared, i have not been on in weeks. Point a finger at me and ill bite it off, and use the bone to slit your throat.

Ziel, you have a serious problem with violence. your postings often have words about slit that, cut here, kill that, and so on. think about it

Violence. A word used by those that let themselves off of reality. Think about it. Bomb here, assissinate that, and cover up the rest.

Also, i wanted to make my point clear. Thats all

OK, enough. The topic has served its purpose and there was apparently a big misunderstanding as well. Whoever *claimed* to be the ghost of Eire as it was clearly not Eire's actual player, try not to pull that kind of crap again, and now everyone knows that it's not true, so I think that's all that we need...Please do not start another flamewar over it.

I know how this feels. There is a thin line between truth and absolute OOC shit.

The reason why is becuase if something happens in game, no one can have their minds changed.

For instance, a newsreporter writes a false story about you and it is published. Everyone thinks your a convicted sex offender and people turn their nose up to you.
Are you? No.
Will anyone listen? No.

This was adressed here I believe as,
1. Knowledge gained from ghosts is ooc and should not be used in game. Unless as was the case with the elf murder victim GM cleared.
2. Useing a ghost to report a murder, is very questionable if you dead delete the character if you are not go to a cross.

the idea of ghost says this or that is bad true, but if anything it should only be considered ig information, no more solid then a rumor would be, i mean when people see ghosts it's never one person anyway so it should be fairly evident that it wasn't quested by a GM or anything you'd have heard about it, those event usually have set times and place to allow for as many people as possible to get on.
As to people not believeing you, consider that your on Gobaith, also known as "weird Sh$% happens everyday land". people being supertious and believeing a rumor is just that, people being people on Gobaith.knowing OOC that you didn't murder said character doens't mean that other characters will know that, if they don't believe you then you just kinda have to deal with what it does to your characters reputation. thems the breaks. besides i'm sure Devs regular enemies are to concerned with plotting her downfall to believe some ghost rumor.

well Athian...the attack on Trollsbane 2 days ago wasnt put on the list..but it was a GM event. but yes, the boy and the girl (not caitlin or me ><) said that the boy was Erie..it was rather odd

yea sometimes our GM's are frightening spontaneous  , but i guess in a case like that you'd expect some rumors or stories to pop up on the walls, if not then i guess PC didn't care enough to write about it.
Same fact still appiles though, just because you say there was an attack doesn't mean i have to believe it, anyone who wasnt there is still in the line of hearsay and i consider that to be nothing but rumors. those who choose to believe it, are the gullable
