Today Shandariel and I were sitting be the bee hives, and across the river we spotted a giant spider, we believe to be Ungoliant, or one of her brood, she retreated back into the southern forest when she spotted us however.

I suggest that no folks enter the south forest, the spiders may not wish to fight on open ground, but an ambush in the forest would benefit them well.
