Just something I have noticed, There are few to no old people in illarion. At the oldest people are 30 but the most common ages for illarionites is 15-25 isnt that strange. Its like anytime anybody in illarion gets over 40 they are automatically killed. Now there may be old characters in illarion but they are seldom played. Sorry just been thinking about that. Really a pointless post

Maybe you just assume everyone is in thei 20's...
Maybe we just RP soooo well you just dont guess our ages....
Maybe everyone lies about their age and everyone is over 40.....

And Ziel....we come here to RP. RPers, by their nature, tend to disregard age. A 20 yo could play a 60 something character. A 50 yo a 20 something or a child, etc. So age tends to take a back seat.

Maybe the 'older' players have more responsibilities in RL (ack sorry to swear on the boards!) and therefore less time to spend on the forums or net in general.

I have the mental age of 30.

Stephen is somewhere around 28 and I plan on playing him well into his 50s inwhich he will be senile and die of old age

My character is a little old, but really old. The Illarion calander seemed to make me forget my character's age.

John was quite old when he left and I started a new char which is over 30 years old, too.

Cliu was 32.

Moathia is about 55-60.

I thought the most elves are in the age of 100 and more?

Lennier is in the end of the mid-30ths. At the end of this year he reachs your limit of 40. I hope i do not have to stop to play him only to keep the stats?

A true elf is >180. 'Cause below that age they are mostly considered teens and children. Guess what? Misjbar is 122

Elves count as adults at the age of about 180.
They are fully grown at about 60-80, physically.

The reasons for the elven living ways lie in the elven nature. Elves can become very old, in fact, noone has ever seen an "old" looking elf. Since they don't speak of their age often, and don't seem to like being questioned about personal things, most humans will never learn the age of an elf. But there are reports of elves aged six or seven thousand years, still without looking older to the human eye.

Since elves can become that old, ( they count as "adult" with one hundred and eighty years ), they seem to think in other time periods than humans do. To a human, the patience of an elf can be almost unbearable.

Uhm.. Damien's age is 3442. He's not that old for an elf.
Elves usually forget the most things that are longer gone than a few hundred years, the memories become vague. Except for things they recall often.

Fooser's a lizzy. They don't get THAT old... hehe.. only, uhm, 3-4 hundred... oh, the very old ones tend to sleep the most time of the year, well if they're older than 500 they sleep over weeks, can get older than a thousand years but over sleep the most then.
