I have a question: I'm not quite a NEW newbie, as I have been playing about a month. But, I haven't played all that much and I am confused about certain things: I just recently created an elf character, and was womdering if someone would be kind enough to tell me HOW do I speak the elf language? lol

I believe it is a skill we have learned from listening to the so called "l337" speak people. We speak United States now, you know. :D

We speak "United States?" I didn;t know that "United States" was considered a language. lol Well . . . I guess it depends on your point of view. :-D

l337speak is considered a language, somewhat. Even Microsoft has a rather interesting article on it, and THAT has to speak for something.

For a bit, there, I was hoping that "us" stood for "Unusually Stupid" language. Then again, I speak that naturally, ooc. So . . . never mind. lol

And the fact that l337speak is actually considered a language . . . is just . . . sad. Heh. I can picture it now . . . some poor kid's first day of school, and they're offering l337 as a second language:

"Welcome, young John. I see you've signed up for my l337speak class."

*look of confusion spreads across the young man's face* "I'm sorry, your . . . what?"

"What are you, some kind of n00b? Spend all your days looking for pr0n?"

*young man blinks, then blinks again . . . then runs from the room screaming*

Okay, it shows the above comment says it was posted by NirAntae. THAT'S WRONG! We share a computer. I didn't pay any attention, so therefore didn't realize she was still logged into the forums. And, because of my stupidity and ignorance, the post right above is by NirAntae. It SHOULD have been posted under me, PhoenixsPhyre. But, apparently I'm a moron. lol So, uhm . . . Nir? Please don't be mad . . . I'm trying to correct the confusion right here. I'm letting everyone know what a dolt I am.

*grovels for forgiveness*

Yes.. quite.. back on topic..

Here is a list of lingos incase you make othe accounts:

!l common*
!l orc
!l human
!l elf
!l halfling
!l dwarf
!l lizard
!l ancient**
!l ad,fd,hrfvf,adsa,***
Mr.Human: [elf] ****

* common is the lingo everyone can speak - unless of course their RP doesnt allow it.
**acient lingo is a rare gift to random elves. But im not entierly sure.
*** anything that is odd like this is a glitch, and cant be spoken.
**** Lastly, if an orc can speak elven, or a lizard halfling, or anyhting off like that, post it in Technical with a crystal clear titles, as this is a glitch.

Can't you learn languages yet? Since if you learnt a language you would be able to get another race language without it being a glitch.
