Intro
I've talked to Dyluck and I'm making my own style of the RPG Maker 2003 game "Legends of Illarion." The difference is very obvious, first off the main character is a villain, second he is made up. Meaning Sslizor isn't going to be going into exotic dungeons.

Main Character
Marn is the main character, he has been a thief since he stole 10 copper from his dad's pocket at age five. However, becuase of his blood father he crosses with other gods, and that gets him in his trouble.

What is needed
The following is wanted for game evolution:

• I have TONS of images from the LoI version, but if your still wanting to donate images for your character, then so be it. ((note: If they dont work ill make a post and no other effort.))
  
  If you want your character to be in it, or even NOT be in it then I require a post. ((note: If you make a post I can guarantee your char gets a part. However I'm not going to say how big.))
  
  If you want to be a shopkeeper, list your style of marketing ((for instance being inside the shop with eliza, a stall, or anything else like a potion seller in a lava dungeon)), what type of wares ((Food, potions, swords.. Etc. etc..)).
  
  For even more nit-picking you can tell me what your character says randomly or as a greeting. ((Some Halfling say Hi-Ho, etc.))
  
  Suggestions are fully welcome. Im only one man, I cant get everyone's liking by my self. Whatever you want to see, tell me.
  
  Test Volunteers

I cant think of anything else, but im sure while making the game something will pop up into my mind and ill post it here. This is an open discussion. If you want to say something do it, im not going to hold it against you.

Rackere, a dwarf, should be there.

He dislikes orcs. He adores his king Tialdin. Images of him are in LoI.
If a shopkeeper, he would sell smithed armor, maybe in a depot or smithery. He has funny commercial tactics as he makes some people (To be exact: Paidraig) shoot at his head with arrows to show his helmet is really well-crafted and secure.

It might be interesting that he is a mage, uncommon, being a dwarf.

Maybe I will find the post in Dyluck's thread so you have another source.

Muahha, i have an idea. Devrah can be a skill raiser. For a mere 500 copper she can raise a skill by a point! Of course, no money and she bitches you out.

Isntead of wasting post space i will use this oppertunity to show off what ive done so far.

This is the cross, showing how diffrent me and Dyluck are. He made his small and insignificant.. but me.. forget about it. It is my "BEST" friend. ^-^


And this is the inn. A collection of fellows, well placed "NO ENTRY" signs and this giant 10 story building is turned into a one floor 20 bedroom bed and breakfast!


And everyone's favorite place to bake bread and talk about Gerard, i welcome you to Eliza's shop front! Here in the photo you can only see 2/3 people i put in the picture ((it isnt complete, thank god)) but the one im talking to is Ciegan ((if i spelt his last name wrong it WILL be corrected)) and over by the fire is Marie. She sells leather armour and cloth bandages.

Put Ules in it . And make him more than what he was in LoI. Also, since it's for villains I'll make one for my thief char, and mayeb you can fit hjim in also (i'l lsend you the image once i make it)

Speaking of Neat-o i want to add that OnionBall is up and functioning execpt for one aspect. Ive been playing the game for an hour straight at this point ^-^

Let me reassure you on somethings.

First off the main character is made up. Therefor he CAN NOT be Sslizor or Joshua.

Second im debating if i want to put in the robbery stystem, so you might be safe from others *G*

Third Im making you a shop keeper that sells bows and shields.

And for randomness sake's, Marie is in the same screen as you, so your character can keep an eye on her =P

I just wanted to make it clear.. Im in no way, shape, or form done with this. Infact im planning to rewrite it, since it sucks in my mind the entire way through.

After aboiut an hour of much thought and scripting i belive i have found my new intro! It almost made me cry, but then again im a softy.

I have two issues to discuss...

first ive started nearly from scratch. Ive kept only the Intro. Reasons are is becuase of my Detial Fanatics. They cuased so much lag it is like running on a 56kb modem and downloading, while playing Illarion. it just doesnt fit.

The program is Illegal to download. A Japaneese Compony made it, and then a hacker translated it to english - that isnt exactly legal...

It is kinda like the Cuba USA law. Cubans cought in the water go back to Cuba, cubans make it to land are safe. Meaning illegal to download, safe to own.

I wonder if anyone would play as Steffi? Her life story maybee? possibly i should try to make one of these..would probably be a 100 hour game with how much i would detail it. and it would be her LIFE STORY from when she picked up her first blade to when she died. which will be soon i think.

Shit. This is EXACTLY what i feared.

People are comming across RPG Makers every other day, and i know Rpers must have them. Life is fierce in the game making world, no execption to the RMs.

And just to let you know - i dont like Self Based games. That is why the main char is made up.

I just figured that i know her story so i would be able to make iy good. BTW wanna add little Valerie in there? she could just stand around talking about bieng a knight a kallahorn , or maybee chase after you if you do something bad and try to scold you >< hehe

You couldn't make a game with 100 of gameplay, that would take like 1000 hours of development time,

More like 100k. I can mabey make 1-10 mins in gameplay in about 1-4 hours. It is alot of shit to do. (especialy when you test it, and everything is screwed up)

Also. Tal ill put you on the list. I need to compile thoughts and re-build Trollsbane.
