I feel rather embarrased, because I asked the day before yesterday, to an NPC, wether he was stuck. I did not quite have the...grasp of the ingame mechanics yet. Is there a guide to such trivial things somewhere?

greetings or hello is a good start at the beginning.
But the NPC's give you some tips if you ask them for help ^^

Here's a clue whether it's an npc or not, if you press F12 and see nothing above it's head it's an NPC if you see something then it's a player (numbers means you haven't met them names means you have)

RE: first line...
You dont have to "I want to be a ...." everytime you log in.. it doesn't work except when speaking to the NPC...
I'm not sure if that conversation happened on first log in...

Hope you'll learn more in time, but it's a great attitude to show so much concern about NPC's like Eliza.
It realy made me smile.
And it's true if you ask that "trapped" NPC for "Help" she'll tell you some usefull sentences to comunicate with her and possibly others.

It happened on her first login. *GGGGGG* I was standing in the kitchen preparing lasagna. Was MIGHTY funny. I hereby promise to stay on this "never ever ever ever ever going to help you sis" attitude.

Try and keep OOC to a minimum, Ziel. Especially OOC comments that serve no purpose like the one above.
