How can I smith?

I know that I should ask in game, but nobody wants to help me. How do I make something, I have 3 iron ores and a lot of coal, a hammer, and a pickaxe.

I have another question, is it possible to learn to speak elf, if I'm a human? If so, how?

Ask a master smith ingame (someone will help you) and read the homepage for languages (No you can't learn other languages right now)

To give you at least a hint: Smithing ore itself is not possible. You can smith iron. Thus, you need iron ingots.
