Before the entrance of silverbrand a man stands. Well crafted armour of a fair metallic hue catches the light of the sun reflecting it upon the stone entrance. The blue cloak falling about his shoulder hangs lifelessly about him, the still winds leaving all about him untouched.
Galim...
Reaching up the man removes the helm which hides his features, Fair long hair falls about his shoulders, and a grim expression sits upon his angular face.
He thinks of his words spoken in anger but in truth within trollsbane, the gods be damned.. If the gods did exist it was for the sole purpose of destroying those whom cared for them.
Aristeaus raises his head and looks to the skys above, his eyes sharp and holding defiance.
Let the gods keep thier own, man was made to make his own fate..Galim deserved better. The dwarf had given up wealth and comfort to serve the one whom he beleived in, and after his years of service this is how it came to an end.
'No longer shall you dictate my actions.' The man speaks in a cold tone, his eyes still to the sky looking to the worlds above.
Galim, his mentor of old, the one whom had taught him respect, whom had pulled him from the paths of dark he once followed.
Galim the one whom had been the one to create the bond between him and Quin.
Galim his friend.... and near father.
They had argued often,, harsh words spoken by both, but Aristeaus knew he would have lain down his life for the old dwarf, as he thought Galim would done for him.
Motioning with his hand, the lord of the north summons a young man to his side. ' I need a letter sent, and at haste '
'Yes my lord '
Lowering his head in thought ,Aristeaus clears his tightened throat.
'It is to be addressed to..
