Food / Essen

As some of might have found out already, food consumption changed. Some items have now a lower "food value" (apples, cherries,...), some have a higher one (cakes). In addition, everything that looks tasty should be "eatable" by now.

Please report anything unusual. Some slight changes will be done soon.

---

Falls euch was auffällt, bitte posten. Ein paar kleine Änderungen werden demnächst noch gemacht.

I have found that I can eat 12 loaves of bread and not become stuffed, Also 5 salmon with out any sign of being full. I am not sure if it meant to be that way, yet 10 loaves of bread seemed a rather large meal.

I noticed that apples have a too low food rate. you can eat a dozens of them without getting full...well, like with the brea,d a dozens apple are alot. its not the time worth to collect them. you have to collect 20 apples just to become stuffed. for characters who won't slain or eat pigmeat or haven't the money to buy their food that is a hard thing.

Theres realism and realism. If the GM's wanted they could make it so you need to mix your foods for a more stable diet. If apples were to fill you as easily as it would in real life there would be no need for other foods.

12 breads? Are you sure? Referring to my list (that is the basis of the food script) you have to blark like hell after eating 12 breads. Could you retest this and report the result? Maybe it is a bug.

Concerning apples and cherries: It is intended. We want to encourage cooking, making food should be a way of living. Apples and cherries still can make you stuffed, but in the old system, the food value of an apple was equal to a trout or half a ham. This way, nobody was encouraged to buy or produce food.

I hope the halflings of Greenbriar will plant lots of crops!

Have you ever seen someone get their head cut off only to turn into a fluffy cloud, go to a holy symbol, return to life, and drink a health potion only to say a snarky comment?!

I have.
