NPC's only accept Plurals
I would like to sell 1 axe handles
I would like to buy 1 shields
(Its kind of funny to watch a gm at eliza trying to buy something and not use Plurals. Sorry whichever gm that was.)
The only NPC I have found to accept the HELP command is Eliza. There might be more, just remember not all of them accept the help command

If you use "a", some will accept singular.
I want to sell a axe handle.

I find that if you ask any of the NPCs to list their wares then you have to sell or buy to them the way they state it. If one says "I sell/buy buckets, axe handles, scissors, wood, needle, saw, axe, daggers, etc." you have to say "Sell one (or 1) axe handles" or "Buy three (or 3) needle" exactly the way they list it no matter how many you want to buy or sell. Its not always plural, its how they list it that it needs to be said.

The NPC at the docks allows help... but the only thing he says is "Best advice i can give you, go somewhere else"

He's not that interesting the guy at the dock, he responds to 'greenbriar' and 'trollsbane' though.

Jarmal was the first NPC I made, mainly as an exercise for myself.
Since he does not hold any vital or secret ingame information I might show you a little dialog I just had with him.
Me: Where am I ?
Jarmal: This is the harbour, where else did you expect a ship to bring you?
Me: A nice harbour, I might say.
Jarmal: Not as big as one would expect, right? But it does the job still.
Me: Are towns nearby ?
Jarmal: The next big Town is Trollsbane, to the northeast. Or the village Greenbriar to the west.
Me: Ah, Trollsbane you say ?
Jarmal: Aye, Trollsbane in the Northeast. You can find practicly everything there.
Me: And what about Greenbriar ?
Jarmal: The villiage of some Halflings, never been there. Should be famous for their food, they say.
Me: I am pretty new here, you know ?
Jarmal: I thought so the first time I saw you. Well, welcome on this little godforsaken island, landrat.
Me: This island, you say ?
Jarmal: Yes, welcome on the island of ... of ... arr, forget it. Have some ale with you?
After I gave him his ale, he was unable to continue our little conversation.
What I want to show you with this ?
Even the most stubborn NPC, who just never seems to react on classic keywords known throught all kind of games, might be very talkative when you give him the chance and listen to his words.

Not trying to imply that Jarmal is one of these.
