A Short-Term Goodbye

Ladies and Gentleman of Illarion (not to exclude the not-so gentlemanly),

I have to take a little break from Illarion due to some things in real life. I write this message so that no one sends me queries and wonders why I haven't answered.

You'll be hearing from me again in two weeks time, so don't get worried.

I'll miss playing with you all,
Aegohl

I've been permanently banned by aegohl.

That would be possible if bans were handed out like so many cheeseburgers at McDonald's. You were permanently banned by the whole of the staff, Konstantin, and even then we gave you the option of getting out.

Other people aren't so lucky. Generally a permanent ban is absolutely, 100%, irrevocabley permanent. However, we know it's just a witch hunt. You couldn't possibley be to blame, right?

Given that, I don't foresee the day when you act like a big boy and get your ban taken away.

Any other human in your situation would have had this ban fixed up by now. In fact, any other in your situation wouldn't have been banned. You practically begged for it.

With that it's back on hiatus for me.

Aeggy, I think I understand your frustration when you feel like calling someone a monkey, but some rules of conduct forbid you to, and you have to formulate a post that is much longer than saying "you are a monkey and I will never ever ever unban you in the next one million years."

Nevertheless, warm regards,

Eric

I thought we talked about this, Eric. Do I need to go through it again and again, ad nauseum?

Has it ever occurred to you that what I say to this player is as much in his defense as it is in retort? Perhaps that slipped your mind. Do you think that further actions such as ip bans haven't been brought up? All it would have taken is a "Yes. Do that." and blampf! No Konstantin annoyances. I have not, however, silenced him. I even asked Keikan to back down in his argument with Konstantin, once.

I suppose the true solution to all arguments is to spam up notices, proposals, and anything else unrelated with unjustified attacks and the twisting of words. Then, I guess, I'd have your full support.

So, sure. Please continue to argue at a thread that announces that I haven't the time for Illarion for a time. Disregard that there are probably greater and more difficult things going on in my life right now that keeps me away from Illarion. Disregard the topic entirely.
Sian wrote: PS: If you had actually contributed something to the subject of this topic, I'd probably react differently, but "Wie man in den Wald ruft, schallt es wieder zurück," eh?

No.

You could have ignored Konstantin's input, but you didn't.
Returned from your Hiatus, yet again, eh?
So yes, I will disregard the topic.

Have a good time and best of luck solving those difficult things in life.
(Wait, didn't I basically already tell you that? Oh yeah, you came back...)

Cheers,

Eric

My return is now official. Please form into lines for the hailing and the tossing of eggs. Egg tossers on the right. Single file, now.

I was originally told that my schedule would continue to be as is for another week, but it turned out to not be so. They brought in more help. I lucked out.
