I propose the addition of 1 or 2 new sockets on the inventory. For shieths to put extra weapons in, maybe another sword, or 2 daggers.

The weapon that is place there would not do any damage until transferred to the other hand.

Only when attacking somebody will the weapon, automatically be placed into your hand. So you ctrl click a monster, and if you have no weapon in your hands one pops up to it, if you have one in your shieth.

And say you have a bow, and you run out of arrows, a sword can come from your sheith up to your empty hand, or a dagger.

If your weapon/weapons break, a weapon can be placed into your hand from your sheith.

Problems with this I could see

If somebody only wanted to use one sword, and no sheild, and they had a weapon in their hand and one in their sheith

Would be great for rp when somebody says, pulls out their daggers, It would really be true.

A time delay when the weapon comes from your sheith into your hands. Dont want it to be lightning fast

The more dexterity/agility you have the faster the weapons come from the shieths

(I know the gm's are busy, and I dont expect this anytime soon, even if approved. Just so you know)

And this item can be easily roleplayed . Just place the item within your belt. The object in question would not give you an advantage it is but a fine adornement. And yes you could draw your weapon faster. But i doubt there is a way the system can make you click dragging any faster than it allready is

Its other use, is when one of your weapons break, and you dont know about it right away. And yes it can be rped thats what I have been doing. I just think it would be nice. Thats why I said it prbly wouldnt be implemented anytime soon even if accepted

Yes, i just roleplay Stephen or Garett having sheaths for their various blades. It is not really needed to have them ingame.

What if the sheat also protects the sword from damage, for example if it is raining [no graphics] everything gets damaged except what is protected...

I like the idea if an archer runs out of arrows, or the target is way too close, changes automatically.

Edited--> Whislt we're on the topic... a quiver would be nice for archers
