Making a fireplace with wood doesnt seem to work,
I (Shift click the wood in my belt: You dont want to burn....)
Then on the ground and nothing happens

Cmon, be resourceful. You don't want to burn yourself, I mean, do you really start a fire in your belt? NO, you don't, you start the fire ON THE GROUND. I thought this was a pretty strait-forward message.

Tried that. Placing the wood on the ground and then using it doesn't work either. You don't get the message however.

Well, it USED to work that way, as in like last week.

Well as in like right now it doesnt work.

And he pointed out the belt thing because if shift click while the wood is in the belt and getting the burning message works, it should work like that on the ground

I started a fire in my depot in the buggy early days past the server wipe. My dwarf immediately began to shout, and try to keep the rest from his stuff from burning. Wouldn't you be afraid if suddenly your depot would catch on fire...with all those precious things in it. Ouch.

Maybe you used the wrong wood *wink*
Some *wink* kinds *wink* of wood *wink* burn better than others *wink* *wink*
