Only hours ago the town was attacked by a drow war party little reason was given for this action. How ever citizens should be aware this was a cordinated attack as such we are at war with these drow and there orginisation Narnil.
Carry a weapon and watch your brothers and sisters safety.
For those who crave details, the attack party consisted of 8 warriors and there commander. The commander eluded us in the woods but they were firmly beaten back from town with 8 dead.
My thanks to the brave citizens who took up arms to meet this threat.

Perhaps they have a reason for their actions?

Or we could all forget about understanding their problems, and ours, and just kill them on sight.

I can't help but feel that this is a situation best dealt with by the Elves. Perhaps a meeting should be arranged on neutral ground, to discuss why the Drows attack.

Seems as though two of your gaurds mistook me as one of these drow of house narinil. after several time of repeating myself , telling them i wasnt part of this war party, the man precedded to cut me down while i was unarmed. i told them of our agreement pendar and they still cut me down. Not to mention all i was doing was trying to sell gold nuggets.

I will look into this will all the care it deserves, I did how ever warn you that being a drow and walking the city at this time may lead you to trouble. I am certain the guard acted to the best of there ability given the current circumstances.
As to you fooser you slink like a snake along these board spitting venom at any chance and curbing you tongue at every meeting we have. With out one accusation in sound fact you can lay at my feet you do not miss a chance to denounce me from the safety of the walls.
I can only hope people see your embittered words for the bile they are and treat them with the disdain I do.
Perhaps you could take up a hobby or maybe move your attentions north were you do infact hold citizenship and a say in matters ?

It's irrelevant of north/south, east/west, abouve ground/underground, slaying with no reason becomes everyones problem. Someone just told you that they were killed, even when trying to explain something. All you can do is come back with the same cheap lines that your master (who also happens to be a bigger man, despite being so short...) has.
You wish to talk about hiding? Ideologically, you run away. Humans like you only live long enough to learn how to kill excessively, then they die. And when you die (Gods forbid), the beings that judge you won't be as soft as the ones that are in Trollsbane, you will have many boulders, and no one to help you.
You took everything that was important to Moskher, and neither of you even acknowledged him in a forgiving manner did you? By the looks of his past reactions, it appears not. You stood around just long enough to defend your pathetic self, then you ran from the problem.
Speaking of hobbies, it appears you and your tiny minions have taken up the hobby of race slaying. Oh, a drow, let's not bother to see the fact that he is a living person, and just kill them. Oh, an orc, let's just kill them. A troll, it's only an important creature of the forest, have to kill him too.
It's good to see you have come away from your gluttony to spend enough time to make a shallow response to someone's life, "with the care it deserves", which means not much at all because guards are responsible, to then probably ignore it again.
Have a nice day-

Are you foolish enough to claim that every drow is good? Perhaps some, very few some. It is I Revlen town guard who sley the drow after ask telling him to leave town. I gave him warrnings and i counted for time and yet he would not leave. Drow raided our town just days ago and you expect us to show compassion for them!? You fool, the drow race has a more vile reputation thatn the orcs. Living breathing, merceless, decieving, and killing, that explains the drow race as a whole. You wish to go to thier wood writer? Then by all means walk into thier wood, or their caverns and see if they give you a chance to leave as i gave the drow. I would loved to see you say "Hello fellow air breathers." only to get five arrows protruding from your chest, as the drow would cut you down quicker than you could blink.

Revlen,
That is the exact same attitude that drives their hatred. You are spreading lie and mistrust throughout this town Revlen, perhaps we should solve this problem with discussion rather than the sword, as you seem to enjoy.
I assume you are not an elf and therefore do not understand the plight of the Drows?

You are a elf no doubt. You most of all should hate your dark skined kin, if my history is correct, they slaughtered much of your kind.

You can hate something all your life and nothing will change. It is compassion and understanding that will change something.

As did the human race. But thankfully noone thinks the human race should be extinct.
You cannot end a conflict by simply slaying all and every sigle of your opponents. This will only cause more hatred, and in the end it will help nobody. It will only create more ground for the seed of evil to grow on.

Has every one forgot the reputation of the drow? Yes im certain they are as harmless and as playfull as small kittens. Are you blind to the happenings around you?
Revlen
He shakes his head and walks from the wall muttering "Has the word changed so much that drow are now good? Fools to think it so, they will give the drows compassion and mercy and the drow will inturn give them the cold taste of steel." he speaks loudly to himself, walking from the board.

The drow have a bad reputation? Yours isn't that sparkling either. Actually, I do see what has been happening in town. This paticular elf was not going after anyone.
Your blind violence is the real foolish idea here.

Why do you fear writing your name writer? The drow have attacked us and you think me in the wrong for telling one to leave, then forcing him after he did not comly?

You do not deserve the name of a town guard. You slew an elf, you assumed to be drow, you cannot be certain. You should be jailed for murder like Durin and Callith. But I have a snaking suspicion you will not even be reprimanded.

I see an elf with dark skin that seems natural to me. I tell him to leave town, all the while refering to him aas a drow, he never puts down the claim and does not leave, i warn him, and tell himagain, and yet he does not leave, i resort to force after talking has no more use. He left after i sent him to the cross. You wish to think me a murrderer, so be it. Though i know what i did, might have stopped a potential threat to town, i may be wrong and yet i did what i believed was right, you can attempt to critise me all you wish, it makes no difference to me. Should my captain see what i did as wrong i will most likely be discredited and striped of my guard rank. But when more drow raids come and you try to reason with them, and they cut you down, you will have lost another guard to which would have givin his life for you, and the town.

Quite intresting indeed. Well, you see. I figured that me coming into town trying to sell some simple ores, without any weaponry, and also without even knowing of any raids on town by my kin along with Pendars word that i wouldnt be harmed as i showed no act of agression besides not listening to you when you tried to kick me out of town becouse of what my kin did to you. For the record my intentions where to join the gaurd, especially when i found my kin were raiding the town . Why? I hoped to be safe from my own kin, but it seems i have to worry about everyone. What a pity, anyhow id be willing to talk to anyone about anything if they hadnt threatened me first and acted more racist then the 'oomie' slaying orcs. I guess this prooves the lizard fooser correct about the gaurd. Obviously somethign i do not wish to join, i will concentrate my loyalties to something that hopefully will accept me for who i am and not shut me out due to my skin color.

I'm not afraid to put my name, I just forget sometimes. Oh, and of course I understand what happened Revlen, those gold nuggets must have looked like a very intimidating threat.

Unfortunately some people do not see that good and evil are not absolute but exist in many shapes and shades. Everyone can leave the darkness, regardless of his race. We are all children of the same Gods, and the same evil is after us all.
Never judge a person by the actions of their kin. Judge them only by their own actions.

Fosser, money has no interest to me. Should you think i stole anything from the drow you are badly mistaken. I offer no appologies for what i have done, for I have made a drow leave town, by force. You all can go run into their arms and kiss thier cheeks, just know the swift cold sting in your belly, is that of a drow blade.

I refer all interested partys to the town laws and charter.
((
http://illarion.org/community/forums/vi ... hp?t=13985 ))
Which you can find next to this message, you will there cleary see that if a memeber of the guard requests you leave town they are to be obeyed.
As such this matter is closed, had the drow in question taken the time to become familar with our town laws. He would have knowen to contact me to discuss Revlens request he left town, indeed also knowen as a one day ban.
Fooser again you speak only false, we have had little other violence of any kind in town since my appointment. Certainly non instigated by the guard. I feel no need to enter into a discussion with you once again the only charge you can lay before me is my supposed actions in my private capacity and relationship.
I stand by my guard and there decision had the person in question chosen to obey the guards request non of this would have occured.

If a guard walks up to someone and tells them to leave, they don't have to. There you are wrong. According to your charter you are correct, but in theory, guess again.

Right or wrong it is the way it works I am never hard to reach. It is a necessary evil that the guard may impose bans it is unfortunate requirement many people will make force neccesary to impose such a ban. Contacting me would have had this resolved in under a day apposeing a ban stubbornly is not the way to adress the issue.

Why do it in a responsible manner when you can just kill them?
