Ok, I have to state clear that no one was on my screen, so no one could've stole it.  I sold some silver to try to find out how much gp I can hold, but I sold too much at once and I droped a bunch on the ground.  I set my counter to 250 in like 2 seconds, and draged them all back into depot.  When I am done, I went buy silver, but I had the exact same amount before my purchase!   I had 46 silver, and I could've bought 16 more.  But I sold 15, I was ok, then 15 more, gold coin on the ground.  So I picked them up and wet selling.  BAM, I can only buy 30.  + the 16 I have remaining in my depot, 46.  I used the money I picked back up, 47.  THIS IS A MAJOR BUG THAT YOU GOTTA FIX!  AND HOW AM I GONNA GET MY GOLD BACK??!?!?  :(

just noticed in a post below that enchanton lost his silver as well.   Any way we can get our silver back?

First of all: DON'T DEMAND ANYTHING AND DON'T WRITE IN UPPER CASE LETTERS OR I WILL ANSWER NO FURTHER POSTING FROM YOU!
Asking polite for something mostly solves the problem without getting the administrater angry on you. At least you will have more success the polite way - try it.

Second: I don't think I have understood the problem that occured. You had 46 silver before talking to the NPC and 46 or 47 afterwards?

I had 46 silver in depot here...

1. I made 600 Long Axes
2. I hold a bunch of gold, about the money for 16.
3. Idea flash, let's see how much silver I can buy at once
4. Sold an additional 15 silver from player stock depot
5. Sold another 15 silvers from depot
6. pick up the dumped 1 silver worth of gold on the ground
7. attempt to purchase 36 silver, failed
8. attempt to purchase 33 silver, failed
9. attempt to purchase 32 silver, failed
10. attempt to purchase 30 silver, success
11. Sudden painful realization of me lost 16 silvers to the NPC
12. Posted in the forum.

Now I have 46 silver....

13. Went back to the depot and picked up the 250 gold that I picked up on ground
14. Purchased 1 silver

Now I have 47 silver....


I think that's about it.  Cant really recall things 4 hr 30 min ago since there's school now, and I have things to remember from school.  I dont know what's gonna happen, but I really want my silver back since me and my friend are building a temple...

I guess the silver has either rotten away while lying on the ground or was placed somewhere in one of your pockets or depot.

The silver from how I look at it was that got ripped off.  I sold them, and gold was droped on the ground.  I picked the gold up...  Oh well, guess those three hour was just a waste...

an idea forms:
to me it sounds like the npc dropped 250 gold, right? My idea is, that a much greater amount should have been dropped, but somehow the program dropped all at one tile of floor in one bunch. As one bunch can hold a maximum of 250 pieces the rest is lost somehow. Do you think this is possible Bror?

This is exact the thing : everything over 250 dropped items in gold is away. The gold weighs more than the silver of the same worth, that is why much gold drops on the floor, about 15x250 gold pieces. Only the last droppe 250 gold remain there.

So... You're still saying that there's no way I can get them back?  :(

well, just say, the guy ripped you off. Hehe first day when i was playing with the weight system, i mae a similar test and lost about 29 silver (out of 35 or 40)  the same way.
Wellwell, sometimes the selling NPC makes BIG profit hehehehe..... he's a thug sometimes.
