Vara Salem breathed a sigh of relief. She had finally been able to share the contents of her book with someone and was getting the help she needed. As soon as the smile crossed her lips, she went into another coughing fit, this one lasted almost 2 munites. The hankey she held to her mouth held the spattered blood from with in her lungs. She shuddered takeing it away and quickly putting it into the pack she carried with her. There was no dought about it, her cough was getting worse. Jeremy had told her to look for Catilynn, to get help for her cough, and she would, but for now, there was some reschearch she needed to do. She get up from the ground from where she was sitting, and headed towards the libary. Emeressed in books she barely noticed the others that were there, but she remained very carefull to conceal the book she was reschearching. A man approached her and she held the book under the tabletop and pertended to look at somthing elce on her desk. He nodded and passed not seaming to notice anthing out of place. After breathing a sigh of relief she got her book back out again and looked for the symbols in other books, looking for something, anthying as to the orgin of the book that was now in her hands. She shook her head wondering why she was given that book in the first place, to think if the wrong person saw what she held in her hands....She shuddered at the thought. She was greatfull that Jeremy Willowbrook had offered his help. This book was to much to bear alone. She herd a small gasp and looked up. Quickly she put the book out of sight and read another. Someone was fast approaching her table, she put the book in her pack, and smiled at the man friendly.
"Hello M'Lord" She said with the slightest tremble. "Can I help you?"
" Your cough" he replied "It seams youve got quite an illness, you should seek out Catilynn"
She smiled. "Yes, a friend told me to seak her out. Any idea where i can find her?"
He seamed thoughfull a moment and she took the oppertiunity to close the book she was reading casually. For just a moment his eyes flickered to the book, she worried he knew more then he let on, but she dared not broach the topic.
" I would try asking around the town square. Someone should know where she is." He said
She nodded. "Thank you i shall" quickly she began to gather her things and headed out towards the square, she had no intent of looking for Catilynn just yet, but wanted only to get away from his suspicious, yet beatiful eyes. Unknown to her he followed at a descrete distance....
((OOC: this is open to anyone who wants to respond, and i welcome it, if someone wants to take credit for being the guy in the libarary thats okay too *smiles* ))

Jeremy was worried. Worried for Vara, her safety and the safety of the book. If it was what it appeared to be it would be disasterous if it fell into the wrong hands.
Without his memory he felt like he was working on pure guesswork. This worried him even more. He should have sent her to see someone more able to help, but the fewer people who knew about the book the better. He had to try to help Vara, with or without his memories.
He took the piece of parchment Vara had given him from his pocket. He studied it, committing the symbols on it to memory. Some of them seemed so familiar, but he just couldn't place them. As he studied the symbols he called to mind the map Vara had shown him. This had also looked familiar.
He stated to wander letting his feet take him where they wanted. He studied the symbols and visualised the map. When he was certain he had memorised the symbols he stopped. He made a small campfire and burned the parchment. He sat for a few moments then put out the fire and returned to Trollsbane. He had much to do.

Vara walked briskly towards the town square she had wrapped up the book in a red silk scarf and carried it in her hands. Unable to get the strange mans eyes from her mind, she tried to focus instead on where she was headed, she hoped she would run into Jeremy as she had something very important she needed to tell him. She was so lost in her own thoughts she dident even notice the twig that snapped behind her. In fact, nothing seamed out of place untill there was a hand on her shoulder. She jumped and spun around instinctly pulling the book tighter into her chest.
She was met with a hard gaze that seamed to pierce into her deep blue eyes, the hood from her cloak fell from her head, her long blond hair spilling down over her shoulders, the red highlighs catching in the sun. Her pulse quickend instantly as she reconised the green eyes of the man from the libary. She stood before the man, feeling much shorter then her actual 5 foot 6 inch frame. He looked down into her face, and remained silent a moment as if studying her. His gaze drifted down to the red scarf that held the book in her hands. She thought about calling out for the town guards, but what would she say? "Help this man is looking at me?" she tried desperetly to calm her self. After all it was possiable he only wanted to say hello and introduce himself, however For some reason she dident think this was the case.
"Vara Salem, its about time i caught up with you" His voice broke though her thoughts.
Pushing aside the fear she was feeling she said " I'm sorry, have we met?"
Laughing he said "I certainally know you, if thats what you mean. However i would be suprised if you knew me"
She blinked no knowing what to say the grip on her shoulder tightened ever so slightly. "Lets have a look at the book you carry with in your scarf, shall we?"
Forceing a calm she dident feel she said "This is my personal book, i dident take it. Therefor there is no reason to hand it over to you."
He tightened his grip on her shoulder makeing it so she couldent move. "Im not asking you again"
She gripped the book closer to her chest. She was about to respond to him when she herd someone calling her "Vara! Vara!" unable to turn to see who was calling for her she stayed still. The man's grip let of of her suddenly and he simply vanished before her eyes.
She spun around and saw Jeremy coming towards her in a fast pace. She quickly met him half way, greatfull for his distraction. "Vara" he said when they met "Couldent you hear me? You were standing there as if in a trance or something."
"That man was holding me down, i couldent move" she said
Looking concerned he replied " What man, i dident see anyone, only you standing here in the grass with a dazed look on your face"
She looked at him unable to think. "You dident see that man? he was over 6 feet tall with black hair to his shoulders and deep green eyes."
"Vara..." he began slowly "I saw only you...."
Quickly she told him of what happened and awaited his advice on what to do.

Jeremy looked around carefully scanning the area around where Vara had stood. He looked thoughtful and puzzled.
After a few moments of pondering he shook his head.
"I dont know how, but this might tie in with your illness. Either this man was invisible or somehow obscured from my vision or he was in your mind. Possibly a halucination born out of your illness, but more likely a connection through the book. Maybe this was the person who gave the book to you or caused it to come into your posession. But still we do not know why. I have a feeling that it could once have been his book. Do not ask me why I feel this. I dont know myself. We need more pieces to the puzzle before we can solve it."
Jeremy smiled. Hoping it was more reassuring than he felt.
"It might be a good idea to try to avoid being alone. At least until we know more. If this man shows up again do not show him the book. Try to avoid his eyes and get help. Better to look foolish and avoid this man for the time being. We have no idea who or what we are dealing with yet. So all we can do is try to keep you safe while we find out more about him and this book. Have you found any clues yet?"
