Was just wondering if a GM could just painly tell everyone one this thread what trades are working for example:

Carpentrey works
Blacksmithing works

and which ones dont work and once they do start working also tell us in here plainly so no one ever gets confused and has to ask over and over the same questions....i just bet it gets on your nerves.

Yes, I agree. It would be nice for one of you to be blunt for once.

Heheh. How about instead I explain the reason why we stay silent:

You know better than we do, often. So many different things are in so many different hands and we so rarely get to play our characters (which is sad) that we honestly don't know half the time.

I know that carpentry works, because I tested it out in more than one way: with a Player Character to see if he gains skill, and a GM character with varying skills to see how the progression works.

That being said, other than that I am entirely clueless as to what works or not. I know the skills are in the client, but that's nothing. There has to be a system to create and on top of that a system to increase skill.

then maybe if the different gms posted on here one saying what he knew worked and didn't work and another adding to it or correcting the other one would also work in a way i think heh ;)

The players could do the same thing, though. I order you all to go ingame and each shift click something and then shift click something else, repeat with various items. Report your results. :P

No we can't
because then our tools will break
and then we will buy more toll which will break
Then we will be broke because you can't find anything to make money off of and you spent all of your coppers on useless tools like shovels and hammers.

*personal experience*

Everykind oft crafting should work, but because of a bigger amount of bugs we still work on them.

Fishing should work now
Tailoring with its subsections (sheep shearing, spinning, weaving, dying)
Baking (including cooking)
Vinery & Brewery should work
Peasentery should work
Goldsmithing should work

and some other new features

Smithing ist still in progress
Carpentery will change once again
Herblore is still in progress, but you can find and collect plants.

What about goldsmithing?

Also, if carpentry changes can arrows be put lower on the menu? Some of us play primitives who just want to make some arrows and shoot them at people. They don't know what to do with the handles that you have to go through before making arrows.

with spinning and weaving how do we do that i have not really been able to find the spinning wheel to do so....and does that mean leather work and thread still has to come in befor we can tailor?

As a further note with arrows, i hear that they can only be crafted one at a time. I feel the old system is better for obvious reasons.

With "obvious reasons" are you talking about things like making a single toothpick, pardon, axehandle out of an entire tree's log?

Nevermind this post, ye who read it, but mind you, this was not spam. ;)
