Hello Bror!
Can druids gain no magic resitance? People told me they should be able to, but I can't even see the name of this skill, not speaking of the yellow bar :) I had some mages attack me with their spells but it seems that this had no effect. It would be great if you could look in my char and help me.

Did you fix it only for Echnaton or for everyone? My Druid (Sjealesh) seems to have the same problem.

There was a bug in the scripts, os it is fixed for everyone.

Is it possible that there is another bug? I tried to improve my magic resistance today but the bar didn't move a bit. And my resistance is really very bad so I guess it is supposed to improve fast.

maybe u need much more time now to raise ur skills coz we have no time based skilldecay (what is ok)
and u r a druid and druids need maybe more time to raise this skill
this makes it double so hard to raise ur skills i think

well yes perhaps. I will hire a mage again :), though I have a bad feeling about this.

I make spells on him, with that I'd made the full word "magic" at skills, but his skill didn't raise... that's a bug !

u cant raise all skills to (technical) max coz each char has his own max limits (like magic and fightin)

well max-limits :) my magic resistance bar goes up the m of magic. I can't believe that this is already my max. Btw which skills influence the magic resistiance? Probably Intelligence and that kind and I have enough points of them.

I have the same problem, too
I'm very proud of this Char, as he can easily beat the Demon, but yesterday I got killed within a second by a spell!
So I thought it would be nice to have some magic resistance but although I had 5 difefrent mages cast spells on me, there's not even the word "magic resistance"!
and this was yesterday and today!

I was one of the mages, but I think it's a bit good, like it is with the "bug", because you said, that you could kill the demon easily...
When could hardly be killed by weapons and you have a high mr too, then what should a mage do? mages are too bad until now, I think that should be changed FAST

Elminister, I almost totally agree with you...
If a mage could kill me with 2 or 3 spells, it would be OK, as me, too, I could kill him with 2 or 3 hits. BUT: This guy who killed me was a quite trained Fighter, and I wouldn't have even hit him once with him using his schields!

I know because he uses magic, but I think that no warrior should be able to cast spells... just warrior-mages should be able to but they wouldnt fight good...

Now, every non-druid is a mage and also a good fighter... I am just a mage and I cant fight, what everyone knows I think ;)

iwe stood in magic fields a long time...
i dont even see 'magic resistanse' or anything like it in my skill index...
so here's my question... why do i suck?
(sometimes iwe stood in fire/poison/ice fields for more than a hour...
shouldnt the skill turn up soon?

Perhaps standing in magic fields doesn't rise resistance? If it would, this would be a real chance for powergamers and as you know, we don't like that kind of persons.

and still I have no magic resistance....
