ARRR I came on today and looked at who is online.

Grebar
Pendar Fayed
Durin Silberbart
Stephen Rothman
Irania
Grunith Shuth
Vey Gan
Glalothe Sevaelath

GRRR someone stole my name!

I'd ask for the person to change it !! And if he's impersonating me, he'd best stop. :wink:

It is an original name.. so i don't know how they would have come up with it. :evil:

Durin is also a name in dutch, shamefully. Rare one, but used. Oh I would certainly now know where they got THAT from. :wink: And Durin is only 5 letters...there is a change of: 1:26x26x26x26x26. If they ofcourse took 5 letters as the limit. And since you can remove a lot of possibilities from this list, like eeeee, and aaaaa, and aaaar (and many many more), I do not find it so odd that your name was "stolen".

There is more than one Martin on the, relatively small, staff of Illarion. There can be more than one Durin in the large planet of Illarion.

@Durin the first
Durin's Folk were the eldest and greatest of the seven folk of the Dwarves, descended from Durin I. All the Dwarves in the Lord of the Rings, except for some unnamed Dwarves at the Battle of Azanulbizar, were of Durin's Folk. The ancestral hall of Durin's Folk was Khazad-dum, where they flourished until the Third Age 1980, growing rich from the treasure they mined there, especially mithril. Although Durin's Fold weathered all assaults from with out, they were driven from Khazad-dum by the rising of the Balrog in the Third Age 1980. Durin's Fold then became a fragmented and wandering people, settling at various places in the Ered Mithrin and in Erebor, until they were driven out by dragons.
Don't say again you invented the name. It is from Lord of the rings, and tolkien has it from the Edda, where it was the name of an other first leader and father of the dwarves. So better be quiet ;).

I was just saying that you shouldn't complain about stolen names before doing some proper research.
