Alright, I dont understand this wipe at all. I've been looking at the thousands of posts about it and I sitll dont get it.

So what we do, to my understanding is.

1. Download the new client that is on the site
2. Create a Brand new Char, never been heard of before
3. Answer the storys get your account
4. Recreate old char's if you wish.

I cant get the new client to work and I'm not sure if what I'm trying to do is correct.

If you have played before, enter the data of your old char and you don't have to answer the questions (again).

I'd do it this way, seems to have worked for me:

1. Go to the account request tab on the frontpage, and choose the option for older players. You'll choose a name and password for the new account, and get an email. Click the link given in the email and your account creation is confirmed.
2. Transfer old characters into your account, and/or make new ones.
3. Download the client that is on the site.
4. Wait for character activation (only if you only have new characters--old characters transferred into the account don't have to be waited on, you can go straight to assigning their attributes).
5. You can start up the client and go play. The PW of your account is used to log in.

I answered the questions anyway

After assigning my old characters I still don't see any names or details under "Your Characters" in the main account page, or any link for redistributing attributes. Is this just an Internet Explorer bug?

Ya Internet Explorer doesn't seem to like the new accountsystem.

Download firefox. Works fine.

And, DO NOT ATTEMPT to change your passwords yet !!! This will render your account pretty unusable, COMPLETELY.

I assigned my old characters using internet explorer and it said it was successfully added. I still can't see them using firefox now though and if I try to assign those chracters again it says they're not found anymore. Any ideas?

I did go to the edit account screen, but I didn't change my password or any other changes.

dyluck i had the same problem....I made it over create new char then and it worked

Same to me, did it like Alaine did.

First try to add, then create new with the same name.

I tried creating an existing character (which I already assigned but does not appear on the main page) using the "create new form", and he appears on the main page but with the status of "Checking character name (may take about 3 days)"...which I think will eventually just lead to it telling me that the chracter already exists or?

When trying to log in The client tells me my account isn't accepted, not that my name isn't accepted.

Partially. It mainly tells that people are checking the name now.

It didn't tell me that. Does't matter... It got accepted and you did a great work.

Now it is 3 o'clock in the morning and I have to go to school tomorrow...

Alright I still dont get it, I must be an idiot.

I can still log on the old client with all my objects and skills and such.

I applied for an account with Turonga, But Didnt make her in the new client, is that ok?

Also, one of the main reasons I didnt make her on the new client is that it says I cant connect and theres no data and such.

Okay. The old server is still up that is right but no ones knows for how long (propably till ~7 or 8am GMT+1 )

1.You need to apply for an account
2.Add your characters or create a new one

It'll have to look somehow like that on the main page of your account:

i did everything i was supposed to....and cannot play

i have DLed the new client, made my account, transfered my charectors, set my atributes, and it says tha tmy account has not been accepted yet

so yea.....

yea i did all that but it says its checking my name....

howlong did it take all of you to get yours checked?

I never had to have my names checked...got them transfered.

Just wait until a GM accept your account. You will be able to play then.

Same goes for you. Just wait. It is hard to tell how long it will take. As you know most gms are german and it is 3:20am here so they are sleeping by now. Maybe you have to wait a bit longer than some of us did...

I don't know it for sure Drogla an I don't want to tell something wrong here and confuse everyone

EDIT: I'm sure a gm will look at it and sort things out as well as letting you play

Nah, you won't need to. Even I had no problems there.

Uhm. I dunno. I prolly haven't read enough as its getting late. But i created an account thing, but I cant add Armil Darken for some reason. Prolly just inactive too much and got deleted. I dont want to have to do the questions again though... so what should I do.

ya know.....i somehow seems to get the raw deel with many things...like that MIssing Charector epic and all?

Dunno...,maybe im just not active enough so my char. files get losts or something..*sighs

I'm still getting a hang of the GM tool. I can't find a request for Armil Darken.
