There is NOT YET a client for win98! This will be released soon.
I am sorry for that, but win98 compatibility was not our main priority.
As soon as a client was built for it, you will find out (probably tomorrow).

No way. I love this new map. Big thanks and cheers to the map designing crew.
/Edit:
• Now people can finally escape and hide in wilderness (before hiding in wilderness and staying in game was like being the target of a duck hunt)
• Long journeys are possible
• Long journeys can finally be dangerous... running out of food and supplies.

I love the fact that its bigger, but its HUGE-ALICIOUS now.

I'm not complaining, it'll just take getting used to.

Exactly. I start with 150 gold, my dagger breaks. What am I supposed to do? I cant kill anything, and I have no clue what the NPCs sell...

I started with 250
copper. Am I just the poor-guy, or something?

I would wait until martin fixed the npcs tomorrow or you'll have to pay a lot more than usual.

Just wander around and enjoy the map

Hehe, my rusty old blade broke after the first Brigand I beat up in the wilderness. I don't know—keep exploring? I haven't seen half the island yet and I've been exploring for an hour now.

The map is horribly big. At least put something to do whiel exploring other than runnign away from scorpions trying to hit them with books but then realize the client doesnt allow that (books should instakilk scorpions). Then you just run while being stung by the 50 others closing in *sobs and curls up in fetal position*

Yesh, books should be insta-kill on many things smaller than those enormous books

Insects, scorpions, ...
rotworm heads >_>

And yet "Arkadia Misella" is logged in right now. Such mysteries boggle the mind.

The mummies are father north than they used to be. If you find the grey rose castle you will be close to them...
