Hello everyone,

I am just appealing to the GM's about the Rock graphic.

Is there any way we could get the old rock graphic? it was so much better [in my opnion] than the ones we have now.
(it can be viewed here...)


I just Really liked it before, and I know that there are others that agree.. So in all reality, could we get it back? pleeease?

I am not a fan of it, it seems to be too "flat". The new one is nice.

The new one gives the illusion of texture. That old one from your screenshot, Nilo, seems more like scorched earth, than a rock. Re-implementing the old one would be a step backwards, in my humblest of opinions.

Must be just me because I started playing a day after the new client was released, but I was happy to not see the graphics I had previously seen in screenshots from the old client. I didn't like the old graphics. Personally I think that the newer ones are equally horrid in comparison to the old ones, although at least the graphics appear conform now.

In short, retro-production (in the case of Illarion's game graphics) sucks, and I'd rather see things move ahead...

There is a way. But I don't think I should tell you. But maybe someone else does (PM)?

you mean using a program that can edit the graphics in the exe and then replacing it with the old ones by somehow getting a copy of the old graphics? Though I'm not sure if that'd work right....

I must strangely admit it is possible to do such a thing. I for instance have customized inventory screen. *points to certain dwarfess*
