Your Town Guard.

Today, in town, an orc clearly confused and wanting revenge was in town. The town guard of this city's only solution: Make him more angrier.
I was the only one in the square trying to understand this orc and make him leave peacefully, I cannot imagine the effects of seeing such a fight happening in town had on the children and the general population in the vicinity.
If the towns guard only solution to small problems is to hack heads off, then their no better then the orcs themselves,
It makes me sick to think of these people as human.

Innar I always take heart when a concerned citizen such as yourself. Takes it upon themselves to keep such a watchful eye on the guard. Now if only those same eyes were cast towards the state of town affairs. We are at war with the skulls until the skulls or some one above me informs me other wise. When the skulls took the town who got bloody? When gorge attacked an innocent elf in town who had to get bloody again?
Yes the answer in both instances the town guard and myself personally.
I appreciate it is a lovely position to be in to wander into town and pick a certain occurance and draw a conclusion from that. In this instance the orc was unharmed until he attacked an inocent by stander. When he choose to attack some one I had little choice but to cut him down.
It is easy to forget when one has only witnessed a small part of an ongoing issue that some of us have been fighting the skulls on and off for months now. That some people have bled rivers defending the town. At the end of the day I am not seeking your thanks or understanding.I am doing a job one that currently includes making sure no skulls enter town. As such I see little reason that I need to accept scrutiny of my actions from you or take this "complaint" as anything more than an uniformed ramble.
If you knew people about town, had even the smallest sense of me or my actions as a guard. You would not doubt see how the crux of your post "that I am a cold blooded killer" only serves to display an extreme ignorance.
Yours as always

Sir Pendar,
You stood there with an axe raised, grabbing the orc, pointing like a monkey towards the gate, and commanding it, despite my pleas, claiming "if this were hagens days..." and "if the orc could speak common, it'd be dead by now."
What kind of conclusion am I supposed to derive? I've seen wars come and go, I come from a war nation myself that was thrown into turmoil. But never, would someone of opposing sides instigate another one who was so unsure and so differed from their point of view, that they were not a threat without instigating it further.
You were the instigator in the fight, the orc wasen't. Regardless of political standing, maybe if your damned gates weren't open all the time, they woulden't get in....But the hopeless leave faith I guess.

Three very interesting points there,
One is your people must have a very layed back few on wars when you can walk into the enemy encampment with out fear for your life.
Secondly you quote out of context, especially regarding some one's mention of hagens days. I feel no need to correct you merely be aware I know you do it.
Thirdly, the orc stood in town waveing a sword around refuseing to leave. Indeed if the orc had spoken common tongue it would have died sooner. Purely my silly sense of fair play that stops me attacking any one with out warning. Pointing like a monkey will have to suffice until I learn the finer points or orcin tongue.
It is interesting that as instigator of the fight, it was an innocent and may i add sick man standing a few steps away that was attacked first. Of course there was no threat the orc after all only attacked an inocent man in town.
In closeing by all means builds us some gates, I will help you hang them

You essentially killed his brothers, you were far from innocent to him. Because you stated such, arrogantly, and told him to leave, ever more so, you brought on the attack yourself, While I, Trying to speak in his native tongue, tried to convince him otherwise, while telling you to back off until it was solved. You kept the problem arising, you brought the attack on yourself. I could go into town waving a sword around too, theres no weapons binding laws here, its when its used in a non cultural way to cause specific dammage thats the problem.
The places I've seen are far from "laid back" They merely show respect for the other side, theres two sides to war, both think they are right, both want the same goal. Because of this, theres a commen ground in which a VERY uneasy, but still existant show of respect is needed for the fighters of both sides.
You treated the orc like it was grown in sheep shit.
The orc can't refuse what it didn't understand, if a child of a warring nation walked in with a dagger demanding to fight the killer of his parents, would you tell it to leave and instigated further by saying "Yes I killed your parents! now leave and take your god with you!" What would expect to happen?

Ah, Innar. Thank you for your words, dear mercenary. I just wouldn't give much on them, because it doesn't matter how Pendar had handled this situation, you would complaint here anyway.
That's just the way how certain people of this town are. Main thing is that they can blame someone. Too bad that I'm no town guard anymore, or else you could have blame me here. Because I wouldn't have been so patient as Pendar was.

I think we have a few people here who always have to argue, it is interesting that they all bring the same arguments again and again. Maybe theat's some kind of plan? I don't know, but I don't think anyone should listen to them.
We have a long time of experience, Innar, and I think you do not have the right to judge things you have no clue of. I truely belive, if you were a part of the team protecting the town and if you would have seen what exactly those orcs have done, again and again, you would think the other way round.

Are you really that conceited that you just brush off the people your supposedly protecting? If your so concerned about the town, why are your gates open for these "enemies" to get in in the first place? Enemies which I see are no more violitile then sheep until you start throwing them around and treating them like dirt, Its really no wonder theres a war. I find it ironic that its men being the aggravators and the orcs are the confused ones.
