I think that there should be houses that players can access in Illarion.  The way that it would work is that the map be redone a bit so we'd have more room for houses (maybe even a new city would be nice).  The players would bid on houses on the website(in game gold) and then that player who would win the bid would have to pay the bid they gave plus the rent money.  The players would have a monthly fee on a house (in gold, for instance a large house might be worth 15 ingots a month where a small house only worth 1 ingot) which would be taken from any money they have in the depot (if the player can't pay up, the house is given to the highest bidder).  Also, I think that you shouldn't be allowed to attack in your houses, that your health and mana don't go up unless you sleep in a bed(I'll explain that in a bit), and items shouldn't dissapear off the ground in your house.  I also think it'd be nice if the owner could invite who he or she wanted and everyone else not able to get in (or have keys or something).  Houses should also have beds so that after a period in time in real life (like 5 hours or so...just to make sure that the players don't just mana train or something in their house) that the red and blue bars of the character be refilled.  In order to do this though there would have to be another city probably and it might take a lot of time to test theories and things and probably to program and design artwork too....any imput would be nice...

With the problems they have now, that might take several years to implement lol

those things are coming in teh next cleint for illarion i heard( dont kow if they are true or not) i also heard that the new cleint wopuld come ouet in a month to a year, but i geuss that wont happen now that baldur left. DAMN HIM!!!!

Itzhak you SO got that idea from Tibia :p. thats exactly how it works there.

Another thing from Tibia: A SAFE TRADE SYSTEM! so that u don't get theives that will find it so easy to steal all your stuff they are so ANNOYING!

A) Please people, houses have been suggested sooooooooooo many times. The dev team knows that they are wanted, and suggestion it over and over won't help.
B) None of the dev team said for sure houses we're coming out in the next client
C) The dev team never game any date at all as to when the next client was coming out
D) A safe trade system has been discussed before, but nobody got to excited over it as it was thought to take away realism. If you are fearful that someone will steal from you, don't trade with them, or if you really need to, try asking around and see if the person can be trusted. If people steal often, or are dishonest, they will develope a reputation and will find it hard to get people to trade with them.


One more thing: If somebody steals from you, do not stand there shouting over and over 'BLAH BLAH IS A THIEF!!", it is extremely annoying and is spamming.

Just to let you guys know, in the development part of the website, they show how getting a house can be done, so take a while and browse through that.

I don't think there should ever be a "safe trade system", since it is only realistic to have theivery. If people are really paranoid, they can just go somewhere where nobody is, it isn't that hard.

i was steing here loking though the froms today to see youer come up yet ithink it would be nice but they have to put up a map editer first so wait till they get it done then start saying stuff like that ok!later

Oh while were at it we should change our name to tibia, and look like stick men walking around. Sorry about that sarcasim, just what i thought of when i first read it. It would be nice however, but you should be able to custom make your houses and then pay for them month by month. The item on the ground this is also good but it would require alot of programing such and such beacuse of crops, campfires, swords and daggers (there may be more). Otherwise its good.
