Somehow i cannot smith shovels anymore... i was told you need:

The gag: I successfully smithed one hammer with just that combination, but afterwards i wasnt able anymore...

What am I doing wrong?

It always says you lack the resources. Don't mind it. And remove all those hints from your post, you are giving away spoils.
It is just tough to smith hammers or shovels.
