Movement troubles.

On two seperate occasions, my character has been completely unable to move. The first was in the past few weeks, when my character was attacked by a giant wasp. Suddenly, my character could not move. The second happened just recently. My character was running away from some trolls, and suddenly could not move. There was no message or anything. It seems to happen when my character is targeted, but it doesn't seem to happen every time. It even happened while my character was a cloud. Logging out then logging back in seems to fix it. Any help?

The same thing happend to me the other day. My issue seems to be directly related to lag and although it has got me killed a few times also happens when I am not actually in combat.
I only post this as if enough people are expierence the problem as a result of lag then the unfortunate truth it is....must be lag.
If how ever some people are expierenceing it as a purely combatspecific occurance.
Then there may be something else amiss.
Not very helpful i know

It's not lag. I see other characters and monsters moving around freely. I can drag myself, use items etc. But I just can't move normally.

Maybe it's a problem with your Keyboard?
I have heard of your problem before, but that was on a few occasions very long ago so I thought that wouldn't happen any more.

It isn't my keyboard either. As I told you, logging out and logging back in fixes it.

As I said, happened before to many others too. However, I didn't hear of this bug in ages.

Just press your ctrl-key once.
