Betrayal

by Lorck
Lorck walks the streets of Varshikar, his hammer griped tightly in hand. He smashes a pot, then hits a few of the house walls with his hammer, some of the bricks cracking under the pressure. He keeps mumbling to himself "Neutral my arse!!" and hits the marble by the fountain with his hammer. He walks around the fountain once and roars, partly from the pain delt to him by the failed rescue and the feeling of betrayal.

Lorck walks back to the bloodskulls cave and begins walking through the passage, the orcish guards do not dare go near him his expressiona and stance show he would kill anything blocking his path. Lorck kneels befor the shrine of Moshran in the temple of the orcs, he draws his hammer and hits the shrine as hard as he can and yells "Where were you!!!!??? wHY DID you not aid my bruddas, your servants!??" Lorck hits it another time and leaves the bloodskull cave.

by Miraci Ruhn
Miraci finds himself in Varshikar. He takes long looks to the damage done to the walls, decorations, and fountain. He knew this place was no longer safe for someone such as himself, and he decided to take his days and spend them in the town of Greenbriar. There he would continue to study his most fascinating subject. He looks to his right, left, and behind him, and he then heads west.

Farewell good city. Be remembered in history.

by Quinasa
Quinasa sat in the small room, her husband fast asleep, her own mind plagued with the horrors of the day. She nursed a small wound on her side from an orc that had attacked her in her attempt to bring aid to the wounded and safety to the innocents. She bit her lip, Lorck had insisted she and Athian chose sides, but they didn't! We only wanted to save the innocent townspeople, she whispered. Quin bit her lip again, not wanting to wake Aristeaus. She felt the weight of the day on her shoulders and in her stomach. Words were spoken this day that could never be erased, wounds were inflicted that could never be healed. Quinasa resisted the urge to vomit. How foolish of her to believe in the possibility of peace when there was no one willing to compromise. She fell into fitful slumber, dreaming that the rift between settlements could be someday healed.

by Sherg
Sherg watched the town from afar. After the quarrel with Aristeaus and his wife, she felt she needed to make a statement. She sat there watching and waiting for her next strike.

by Gwynnether

Gwynnether tried the best to support Quinasas actions. Both shared the same opinion, but as it seemed neither the one nor the other front listend to them.
Gwynnether admired Quinasa for what she had done on this day. The courage she showed and the will to fight for what she is believing in.
After the orcs finally entered the town, she ordered Quinasa and Athian to leave. She knew it wasn't their fight and she knew that Quinasa would never involve Varshikar in this matter and that was the best she could do in this situation.
Gwynnether herself didn't follow just one of Johns orders on that day. She couldn't. She was too hardheaded to let someone influence in her actions and after the fight ended she handed John the uniform of the town guard back.
That was something she already wanted to do long ago. Finally free in her doings, she went up North...
