Exactly what do i need to smith things with handles? I have tried many things, (logs, branches,etc. in my inventory at the time of the smithing), but it alwayas says, you have failed , maybe because of the lack of proper supplies. What do i need for a handle?

Ask a Blacksmith in game.

Yes it is annoying when one is not online and yes you may have to be in game some time. Even so, try asking anyone who looks friendly.

Sorry, but this is one of those things, like magic, that must be learned in game.

It's common sense, you'll kick yourself when you figure it out. It's really not hard.

Also, experiment with a few things if no-one is online who can help you with something of a certain skill.
