I was PKed by a Dwarf in Troll'sBane, and I'll say what happened. I was selling stuff to Eliza the shopkeeper, and had stuff on the floor I couldnt carry. One item at a time I was picking them up, until a dwarf took them. I told them I was selling them, and he said "LIAR" and also "Lyin' thief, stop cheating eliza!!" And then he killed me in 3 hits. WHAT DO I DO!?!?!

PS: I know ive heard this dwarf speak before, because I distinctly remember what he always says "Kicks in the groin". If you know who often says this, PM me.

Report to a gm, the boards are not meant for this. These kinds of topics are of no consequence to players anyway, since it is not their decision.

However, keep in mind that PvP is allowed in Illarion. The rules only forbid killing without a reason.

I don't think you were PKed, because it seems a thief stole your stash then murdered your character.

However, he still gave you absolutely no opportunity to defend yourself, which is just as worse.

To the post about playing Tibia, yes, I've done it before, but if that's where this conversation is going, it would be best to take this to another board.

you dont wanna let slip that you have once played a game other then illarion to these guys, i mean when i let slip that i played Runescape it wasnt to prety.....

so, you can kill someone as long its just to "murder" and steal since theivery is RPable? Just kiding..... ill try to not kill anybody.

As long as you play it good and not come up crtl+ click and after you killed him "#me looks like a murder and gets your stuff", that is just bullshit, much better than that is like "#me sneaks up" "#me looks at xyz and tries to hide from him" or something like that not just "slash kill boom bang" and know i'm a murderer and its ok because i atleast send one "#me".

Injury (not really murder - the cloud thing) can be role played by a thief so long as they don't overdo it.

Simply do something that alerts the player to what you intend such as..

#me holds a mighty sword.

Something the character would see and then give him a chance to react.

You may find it hard to let your character become vulnerable, but when you want to play a killer, dieing comes with the territory.

As for the PKing situation. It wasn't technically a PK because he DID use some form of roleplay, thought it was really.... really bad. I'd consider warning him somehow, in some way, to let him know that his RP against Miraci was stupidly poor.

I used to be number 3. There wasn't a newbish PKer out there that could withstand three of those cone of ice spells. Paralysis was another good way to get the PKers right where you want them. *sigh*

Now for me, its option five: Die.
