Illarion is awesome

Today, I took some minutes to play Illarion with an innocent mind, I tried to pay attention to all the things I took for granted all the time.
And I found out that this game is simply awesome. Not because we have the coolest gfx and sounds here or we have to most monsters per square mile, but because this game has the best players ever.
From a technical point of view, there is much on its way that one could miss, but what matters most is the roleplaying. Everyone ingame, I repeat, everyone playing so well that you can really feel the existance of the imagined persons, even though it is a computer game.
I never encountered a game that kept me playing for so long now (I started in the 24xxx ages, around summer 2002), even though I have to admit that I used to play more when I had more time for all this.
OK, enough slime, can I have my fireaxe now?

Hear hear, Belegi!
Illarion is COMPLETELY unique to any other online game I have ever bothered searching and trying. Belegi's right in how much we take Illarion for granted. Here we whine, there we whine, and then some more.
But a lot of us still come back

.
I love Illarion like no other game, despite its arguments, and occasional bad role-players, and excessive amount of politics

.
Oh, and appreciate your GM's, everyone. They do so very much for us behind the scenes that sometimes get too few thanks. Cheers to Illarion!

If it were not for Hermie the whole thing would fall apart
Illarion owns you.
I love the game, even the wars, even dying, even though that is really annoying and you're angry for a good 30 seconds before you go "Ah, what the hell!"
I prefer it when players fight monsters together. Still Illarion is a great game, only we need more roleplayers! Covert everyone you know to roleplay and then unto Illarion! Soon the world will be addicted and Martin will finally take his place as rightful ruler of the world. Not that anyone will notice, we'll all be playing Illarion.

Yes, the activity of players has been astounding lately. All of this warring is creating a great demand for armor, weapons, and potions. Being a druid is getting very, very profitable, and I'm loving every second of people accually looking for my character to buy things. I tell you war is the best thing for heavy industry, medival tanks = knights, so I guess blacksmiths are the medieval heavy industry. Caffeine helps too.

It's a shame people aren't looking for flails or battle staves, not many people choose concussion weapons because axes are so overpowered

Yes, Illarion is awesome.
Thanks to Damien for taking 2 hours of his time to help a bunch of players out, and having a little fun at the same time

You might be happy with your staves, but Ules staves are of the highest quality, and infused with the power of JUS for extra speed

(even though the game doesnt seem to know that *scoff*)

I have sold several concussion weapons lately. Much to your suprise, only 1 double axe in a long time. I think people stockpiled double axes a while ago from demons.

I thought you were implying people were buying double axes, which are slashing, instead of concussion weapons. I was saying, this seems to be completely opposite from my character's experience. I do not make staves in real life, if I tried they probobly wouldn't be very good anyway.

Ok I got you. I do wish people would buy some wooden products from Ules though. only thing I can ever sell is arrows

.

Strange, I never can, and some of my chars actually have around 100 wind arrows and cant even sell them for 50g!
Illarion is awesome, I just hope more EGHs come back
Then again it would take time and I wouldn't have much time to play my alternative chars. Then again, I do have 7 I need to delete. Hmm, I'll get on to that now.

Most people don't purchase wooden products because they know someone who can give it to them for free, or they can make them themselves. I'll even wager the majority of characters know carpentry to a certain degree anyway.

Yes which sucks. That's one thing the char wipe will help, because only people who really want to be carpenters will and up being them for a while.

I think Illarion is as dull as a spoon right now. There just aren't enough players (or a variety of stylish characters) to constitute my verison of "fun," and I am therefore lacking motivation to play.
(People are annoying but I love social gatherings, isn't that ironic?)

Remember:
There is no spoon.
Edit: "It's not the spoon that bends, it's you who bends."

I think Illarion is as dull as a spoon right now.
What did you just say about spoons?
I kind of find the lack of variety in the game dull..I play very occasionally, but It's usually just to find aload of people standing around a fire saying incredibly boring things. So to spice things up, I'll...say.....accuse one of them of stealing...then I get chased, then killed by an orc usually. I still think, although It seems to be sacrelige or whatever to say it, Illarion could still learn some things from games like Ultima Online and WoW.
