Problems connecting to the server

I am recently having problems connecting to the server.. it says.. quote: WSAECONNREFUSED' then ' maybe the server is not online or you have no internet connection' and then ' can't conect'
Is this a normal thing? or easy to solve? I just wonder because I see nothing on the latest news... and people appear to be online.

I am having the same problem here. Maybe the server is really offline and those people online are, like, "ghosts". Like when you are playing and your connection break and you still can see yourself online in the site.
If this is true... I hope none of them get dead, it's really annoying when this happens (happened with me once...)

Have you not yet learned this means the server is down? The people are not really connected, the website says there are because the server does not tell it any different.

Now we will all need to be patient and hope that the server goes online again... soon.

In times like these, it is often helpful to check the IRC chat at #illarion. There you can interact with the GMs and other players and find out what's wrong with the server and how long it should be until it's fixed.
