To me it seems that the esteemed King Tialdin, nominated Dolgan Durgan with the intent to irritate the people of Varshikar. Tialdin, don't you realise that Dolgan is forbidden from their land due to the fact that he has been a constant trouble maker up there.

If the people of Varshikar were to nominate Elaralith, for example, as their representative to Silverbrand, you would have none of it, would you?

By this choice, King Tialdin of Silverbrand does two things : for the first, he honors and accepts Varshikar, for the second, he gives Dolgan Durgan and the people of Varshikar he had trouble with, the possibility and duty to interact with and respect each other, laying aside the old conflicts without any side loosing their honor.
A wise choice and a hidden call to reason both should follow.

I will hereby resign as advisor of Varshikar. This decision, of appointing Dolgan Durgan, is a bad one, and I will not accept it. I will never see Dolgan as ambassador, for he is not one to become that. He is a foolish dwarf. I hereby send my apoligies to all the ones in Varshikar, but I will not do it like this.

Eine wahrlich königliche Entscheidung, wie sie nur Tialdin, König der Zwerge treffen kann. Ich gratuliere Varshikar und Dolgan Durgan, welche gleichermaßen durch diesen Schritt profitieren.

Dem jungen Varshikar eine solche Ehre zu erteilen, wird der dortigen Herrschaft nur helfen können, durch die Anerkennung von Aussen eigene Motivation für die eigene Sache zu sammeln.

Gleichzeitig zeigt der König seine Gnade gegen über Dolgan Durgan. In schlechten Ruf gekommen gibt er ihm noch eine weitere Chance. Er überträgt ihm größte Verantwortung und prüft ihn damit auf seine Rechtschaffenheit und Tauglichkeit. Ja - Dolgan Durgan wird geprüft von seinem König. Er repräsentiert im Norden seinen König, sowie das gesamte Königreich der Zwerge. Ein scheitern wird sie Dolgan Durgan nicht erlauben. Ich bin mir sicher, er wird sich dieser Aufgabe bewußt sein und dementsprechend besonnen handeln.

Nun, Gandela. Wir wissen, dass Varshikar Silberbrand als Reich anerkennt, so muss es uns nun gestattet sein, einen Diplomaten auszusenden, der auch Immunität besitzt. Dabei spielt es keine Rolle, ob derjenige welche in Varshikar gesucht oder aus Varshikar verbannt ist.
Dolgan ist somit rechtmäßig immun.

Well, Gandela. We all know that Varshikar accepts Silverbrand as the Kingdom which it is. So we must have the right to send a diplomat who has diplomatic immunity. It doesn't even matter if the person is wanted or not. Dolgan is legitimatly immune.

Red nich wien Elf. Die Norterothnachfolger ham ihn rausgeworfen wohl weil er mist gebaut had, da werden sie ihn och ned mehr reinlassen. Der könig sollt sich das ansehen und dann entweder den Northerotern oder halt Dolgan was auf den Detz geben, je nach dem wenn er für schuld daran findet.

Gandela, dir ist doch wohl klar, dass wenn der König sagt, der geht da hin, dann geht der auch da hin. Da können die rumzetern wie se wollen.

Was soll das diskutieren? Gandela, du bist doch Zwerg. Also sei stille wenn der König was sagt und nimm es hin. Sehr befremdlich wenn ein Zwerg die Entscheidung des Königs bemängelt.

Im übrigen bin ich als Botschafter akzeptiert und die Leute die mir da aus mir völlig unbegreiflichen Gründen Verbot gaben gehören der Geschichte an oder sind zurückgetreten.

Ich akzeptiere was mein König sagt, deswegen leiste ich auch keine Strafdienste im gegensatz zu manch anderem Schreiber hier. Und weil ich ich meinem König diene, informiere ich ihn auch über Veränderungen.
